  • Rip Taylor is great at making us laugh!

  • I looked up elizabeth moorehead on google for a lark and there is a young girl on facebook that looks just like her. So weird

  • Jim Victory Television was a division of Goodson-Todman, so it stands to reason that they owned the show, and the syndication rights.

  • What was Jim Victory Television, and how did they get the syndication rights to all these Goodson-Todman shows?

  • lol, cassettes didn't make it out of the 90s, but those same Lens Express commercials never went away.

  • Of course!

  • That's a no-brainer!

  • Was this before GSN was in their dark period when their contract for the Goodson-Todman library expired?

  • Yes, mere weeks before in fact, around Oct. of '97. I had just gotten GSN via DirecTV a few months before the transition so I was pretty p'ed off at the time.

  • I feel your pain, my parents had C-band so I was able to see GSN from the start. The diamond head game was one of the worst things I've seen on that channel

  • @chrisivision07 I was Mad too at the Time.

  • contestant Jim Bontempo later went on to win big on Tom Bergeron's "Hollywood Squares" and also Rip Taylor would also "rip" off his toup again on Tom Bergeron's "Hollywood Squares."

  • No wonder they called him 'Rip' Taylor!
