No, they come with AI (computer controlled) traffic. You can decide how many you want though. If you can't see any, try going into the settings panel and sliding the AI traffic slider up.
When you are choosing the departure airport, look for the heading "runway/starting position". You'll notice that "active runway" is selected by default. By clicking on the down arrow, you can choose any gate, parking space or runway to depart from. Then just click OK and continue setting up your flight as normal. If using a flight plan, when you click OK to load it in, choose "yes" when it asks you if want to move the aircraft to the selected departure airport.

SAS are NAZIs in power still. If you can do not fly with Norwegian Nazis, or any other for that matter. (NN).
