You see where she's sending them signals until she eventually removes the headphones so that she can hear herself since the guitar was overpowering her voice in the headphones.

It's a shame that the sheer volume of modern music that is thrown at us now has ruined all chances of truely great modern pop-songs[like this, lyricly brilliant] from having any serious longevity...
