  • Feel sad for that stingray man.

  • Corvette at the wrong place

  • black 205 should have pulse braked to try regain steering perhaps. It might have worked, it might not, but jam the brakes on and that will happen.

  • gott ist das ne hässliche sprache ^^

  • @xxpredato16rxx Nein, ist sie überhaupt nicht. Hässlich ist vielleicht höchstens Dein Kommentar

  • I feel bad for the Stingray...

  • Wow I did not think it was possible. Someone actually video taped a crash that did not end the video 1 second after the crash, kept the camera in the car, and high quality at nurburgring.

  • i think if he didn't lock up he could have made the corner... but it's hard to have those kind of reflexes. if you see a wall you brake hard

  • i think the 205 was gonna crash anyway

  • It looked like the Corvette pulled over, in the wrong place, because he didn't like conditions.

  • Where were guys with yellow flag in first place?

  • This is the corner I ALWAYS lose it in GT5

  • @pucksaver95 Ya, I hate this corner.

  • im pretty sure that black car could have powered out of that, get off the breaks and back on the gas that has happend many times to me in my car u just have to stick it out.

  • i feel very bad for that corvette driver....

  • leuk bochtje

  • Poor Corvette!!!!!!!!

  • yeah thats a good place to leave your car...at the outside of a blind corner...

    must be an American.

  • a very tricky part of the track, especially in slippery conditions

  • Why do people write all over it? Is it breaking points or graffiti?

  • @EpicRCRacer26 Graffitti. Many are well wishes to drivers who compete there. Others are tributes to friends who had fatal accidents there, Others still are grafitti for the sake of grafitti or "viral" plugs for their car club group or website.

Jalopnik.com I'm looking at you on that last one.

  • Poor Stingray.

  • So is the Nurburgring a road or a track or both?

  • @TheZohaun Nürburgring is a track. But there is the old one, the famous "Nordschleife" and the newer Grand Prix track.

  • @rosenscharf It's a toll road that used to be an F1 track in the 50's. I still don't get how they let common ppl drive it. It's one of the most challanging tracks on the globe, yet any sundaydriver is allowed to drive trough the tollbooth and give it a try.

  • @Iron883Man To make it VERY clear. The old track "Norschleife, Green Hell" was built long ago and never was a public road. It used to be the F1 track. There is an annual 24h- race.

The new track is connected to the old one but built much later. It is a current F1 track and celebrates the GP of Germany every other year.

I don't see the problem in regular drivers on the track. You don't have to play Nikki Lauda, plus it's safer here than in public.

  • @rosenscharf I now it isn't a real public road sinds it's just an old track. It's a toll road in the way that anyone who pays can drive it. Anway, I wouldn't risk a 20 year old VW golf nicking my car or running me over on my bike. I rather pay 200 EUR for a few hours @ spa francorchamps. Anyway I got huge respect for the ppl that master this track and can actualy drive a good time there. Personaly I think there's alot wannabe idiots around that should take slipcourse before they go on a track

  • @Iron883Man Answer: The Germans refuse to live in an idiot proof sterilized world where everything and everyone is dumbed down to the common moronic standards of today in North America. People in Germany are directly responsible for themselves and their behaviour. That includes rigidly enforced Laws concerning the Autobahn. There may be no speed limit per se but behave like and idiot, risk others lives, and you are toast - as it should be. In many way German is far more free and human than USA.

  • @SmileyGarrish lol, I don't like the US concept of freedom either. Not saying that there can't be idiots in this world. In fact I'd rather have them racing on a track instead of on public roads like seen all too often. I'm just saying: you won't see me near them if I can avoid it.

  • @SmileyGarrish Well said! I gladly pay to take my 1973 Capri 2600 on the track in the US whenever possible, and I don't mind signing a waiver to do so! And I drive it daily on the public roads as well. A good car is to be enjoyed!

  • that shows perfectly the diference between ABS and NOT ABS

  • The guy in the corvette crashed in the wall after it had rained and he couldn't start the car.

I think he was in shock, the Peugeot crashed in the same place.

  • why was the Vette stopped there in the first place?

  • corvette guy is stupid. He should pay for everything. This track should create a special driving licence to get in. People who don't know how to act can be killing machines

  • Comment removed

  • wow ; not the most impressiv crash i saw in that curb; but one of the most breath taking ones by far... i really thought that corvette was going to die ... would have been a great loss... sorry for that poor gti ... looked nice too;;;; seemed liked i heard some carbs on it .....

  • They yellow 'parked" car, is that a stingray?

  • guy in yellow corvette: well... i could get my ass out of here before some next asshole tryes to kill me....

  • thats one sexy corvette

  • yeah totally good camera

  • no abs, no steering while braking^^

  • This is an excellent video in terms of video and sound quality.

  • @richardmajor86

Thanks. nest time i'll try to hold the camera more steady. This was the first time I just my camera.

  • @richardmajor86 agreed

  • first : Target Fixation

    second : Panic Braking

not everyone has the right stuff , even tho you wish you did

  • Hello and thanks.

The video was recorderd with a sony cx-105 camera.

  • Die corvette is nice!

    That corvette is nice!

  • very nice camera work. which camera was it?

  • Well good, now there's glass on the track

  • So good brakes on Renault. Well done

  • LOL the peugeot is a shit box, not an FIA GT car lol

  • brave man to shop up at the nurburgring with that corvette

  • Let's face it, that corvette shouldn't have been parked there either. I'm certain the Peugeot driver was going to fast, but he appeared started by the vette too. It couldn't have been that bad for the vette..... I mean, when he saw he almost got hit, he started the car and moved it. That was just a stupid spot to pull off.

  • @criticallistenphile The corvette wasn't "parked" there. He had crashed into the wall. And he did exactly what any professional driver would do. Take the car off the tarmac. And if you crash a car on the Nürburgring, you are obliged to stay put until the track marshals arrives. The driver is a semi professional local driver that has driven thousands of laps around the ring. The Corvette belongs to a Swiss guy (not the driver) and it is incredibly fast considering it is 45 years old.

  • volgensmien komen jullie uut het oosten onie? :)

  • @wippermannl

  • Nice example of what ABS can do in a tight situation. Both paniked, but the clio made the corner and the 205 crashed.

  • Better luck next time. I had driven the track half a hour before and was happy it was dry.

You've got a Mi16 with or without turbo???

Respect for your reaction on this video ;)

  • what i was saying.

Clio rs: this one has abs as you can see, then you came up. I told everybody this was hasn't. Then you run your car in the wall.

Everything els isn't important, only that we say that the cars have to be removed. Especialy the the yellow one.

Sorry for my english, hopefully you understand it all.

    Regards,

    Martijn

  • Haha no problem mate.

If you had more time i had asked you for your email adres. so i could sent you this movie.

I'm glad you found it anyway. Better luck next time.

You've mist the car by a inch or some, that was good driving.

Next time the stingray need the start the car faster and remove it from the corner.

Best of lick with your car.

    Kind regards,

  • Hi i was the guy with the 205, thanks for sharing this as need to see it all over again and should have asked you to bluetooth it too me:-) was a little distracted. Was wondering what you was saying lol And just wished I had ABS lol.

Thanks again for sharing this buddy

    Regards

    Kenno
