  • Makes me proud to have Irish ancestory! I always thought some of my family who the "city folk" call "hillbillies" were actually closer to our Irish roots, this proves it! Some of the dance moves she made along with the music sound and look just like my "hillbilly" family. . . I want to dance now! Awesome video!

  • Thanks for the comment! Yeah, oldtime/stringband/Appalachian music has a strong connection to Irish music. Actually so does Canadian folk music... and half the guys in the video are a French Canadian band called Genticorum. Glad you enjoyed it!
