Off out of camera view to the left is a DVD playing the vide on screen. The glass is place far left back and angles in towards the right. The ball is behind the glass and the projection comes from the left, reflects on the glass and appears to be on the ball - pay attention and you'll see a slight glare. You need to do this effect head on. Anything can be used for the video...try a puppet in front of a black drape, record it and use that if you wish, or you can do your own face as well....
Thanks. Becky is simply a styrofoam wig head that is air brushed with glow paints and an old wig. The body is a female form (blow molded) from a window manequin, and is set in place with expanding foam. The entire prop is on black PVC pipes with a heavy stand to avoid tipping. The material is Black Light reactive, it is simply draped over her with a hole for the head pipe. We have a box fan on her with a strobe. She'll be on our clients balcony this year. Crystal Ball is "Pepper's Ghost".
