In my opinion... Carrie= MUCH better vocals than Taylor, but she's shallow & a tad bit arrogant. Taylor= vocals definately suffer & performances are sometimes hard to watch, but she's very deep, down to earth, total sweetheart & an amazing songwriter. They both have their strengths & weaknesses.
I'm tired of Taylor hogging the spotlight and thinking she always deserves to win, then gets angry and STILL gets all the attention as a pity case if she doesn't win. @Softballallstar2010 BAHAHA. Taylor Swift is amazing? Compared to what? SHe sucks! And that was proven with the ACM Awards and the CMT Awards. She won the Grammys and CMAs last year because of the Kanye incident. Everyone felt sorry for her, but since it's been a year since that happened, people are OVER IT and OVER HER.

um no it's not "definitely something to think about" what you need to think about is how carrie underwood, miranda lambert, and taylor swift are all awesome country artists. carrie underwood got the awards bc she's great but it doesn't mean anything that taylor swift did not get one. get a life.. changing your hair do doesn't make or break you haha. also, it's an honor just to be nominated for a CMT.

I don't think that it has anything to do with her look...I think that it is because Carrie and Miranda have like 2009 albums and Taylor's last album came out in 2008 so people are going to the best new music. I personally love Taylor, Carrie and Miranda. :)

Underwood is a great singer but Taylor's music is magical. There is no one better in the Country industry than Taylor today, in my opinion. Both are beautiful, both have a wonderful voice, both have incredible songs, but Taylor is a little better.

Carrie is selling music. Taylor is selling her image. People easily get tired of looking at her and admiring her looks. At the end of the day, people will still choose music over image. (though they made a terrible mistake last year)

It's not really surprising that taylor didn't win. I mean Fearless was released in 2008 and taylor's won numerous awards for her songs and videos in previous award show. Those people like carrie underwood and lady antebellum just released their new albums early this year. When taylor's new record comes out this fall, nobody would be able to match her. I'm sure!
