Bama is 2nd to last in the nation in drawing penalties, as THEALABAMANATION would have you think. Opponents have had only 29 yards per game in penalties this year. Penalties are a wash for this game, except for the cheating officials like we saw with the Patrick Peterson interception that the review officials couldn't even overturn for unknown reasons back in 2009. LSU has to pray the game isn't decided by the refs.

Great game. These were undoubtedly the 2 best teams in the nation. Oklahoma State, Stanford and Boise State are not in the class of these two SEC powerhouses.

One major issue nobody talks about is penalties. Bama is in the top 5 least penalized teams. LSU is one of the most penalized. I remember Josh Dworaczyk punched CJ Mosely without a penalty last Nov. I bet Mosely hasn't forgotten it. Though he simply walked away. Bama is good at drawing penalties. LSU is simply not mentally capable of dealing with a level headed, mature, mean defense. Oh, they can dish it out, but they can't take it! Watch em pile up the yellow hankies! ROLL DAMN TIDE!!

Im with ya Hillbilly...i think they are the best two teams...however, there is a lot of SEC envy out there. Hell, there is a guy still voting Boise as the #1 team in the nation. WTF? @akbrown15 You know, this might sound crazy but Oregon is a much better team than Boise State in my opinion. I think the Ducks are gonna beat Stanford and Boise will win out and play the winner of LSU Bama. @lawtide1x I would love to see Marquis break one too...though it will be tough. LSU ST efficiency is 1 in the nation right now. Their punter Wingo can kick the ball with curve, make it stop, bounce left, right, backwards...former aussie rules football player. Last season we returned one punt for 4 yards. ST will be huge in this game, especially with two stingy defenses. I am hopng our ST stands on their head saturday night and challenges themselves to play with LSU's STs.
