  • is this the movie where a woman teaches a young girl on the porch how to kiss???? i only remember vaguely but that scene seems like it's from this film!

  • Who the fuck disliked this?!?!?

  • I watched this when I was very young. And it ruined me. It hurts so much, I kept crying. WHYY?? :((( I know its a good film, but I can't get myself to watch it again. It's just so heartbreaking.

  • How does this end? Does someone die?

  • @MissEve12 Yes; and when it happened, I couldn't finish the rest.

  • THE CUTEST MACAULAY CULKIN EVER!!

  • Forever my favourite film! No matter how many times I watch it, I always cry. <3

  • I just hated it when Thomas J died. Seriously. -_____-

  • WHAT THE F!! Why would American always have a Version of Korean/Japanese?Chinese Movies? It Sucks. My Girl ( Original Korean Version ) is the best !!

  • @jomzdacara13 This is an 90s film and My Girl (Korean version) was filmed during 20s.

  • @mitzyever13 ohh.. Hmm, so what's the original version?

  • @jomzdacara13

America's version is the original. It was in theaters in 1991. The Korean Version was filmed in 2005. The Korean people and other Asians are the ones who like to copy American pop music and movies, so please get your facts right before you talk cock and make yourself a fool.

We Americans should have just let the world be dominated by the Germans and Japanese during World War II and be allied with them instead. Then we wouldn't have people talking cock about America today.

  • @fonduelazone oww/ sorry for not looking for the fact.

don't be so mad. and Am I talking about World War II? Don't be brag etc.

Also .. Americans love also to remake and to have their own versions of Japanese,

Chinese, Korean movies . . love stories .. horror etc.

  • @jomzdacara13

no shit really lol. uhhhm America just started all this shit your listening to right now and watching. im not american. I hope you know the term Americanization .

  • @eatmars fuck you. I commented 1 month ago. some people already said things to me. so, don't bring it back idiot.

also, I know that Americanization but Asians will going to break that. fuck yourself

  • Oh my god. I remember watching this when I was like...7.

I recently just thought of the film today and I watched it just now. Fucking bawling out my eyes, this film is so sad!

  • @TheFilmCollectorDude Yeah and he's also the voice of Yogi Bear.

  • Wow Maucaulay Culkin was gorgeous as a kid!

  • Me and my mom call this "the movie we watch when we want a good cry." I remember watching this for the first time when I was actually around Vada's age. It was the first movie that made me cry my eyes out for days. Its so sad!!! Sad but a classic.

  • @TeenTess It does start off very sweet and happy film, its just in the last sort of 20 minutes, that people will really start to weep and shed tear or two.

  • One of the sweetest, but saddest films i ever saw.

  • The only film i have ever cried watching. Watched it for the first time when i was 6 and cried like a baby. Didn't watch it for 11 years and then when i did at the age of 19, i cried exactly the same.

  • whe he said the teacher will give her all A's i thought he said he'll give her AIDS.

  • @FightsRightsAlways Lmao xD

  • Ain't any movie has ever made me cry. Last one made me at least think or rather touched me was the last unicon when I was aged about five or six. This is another one which I watched when I was 18. But unlike last unicon this made me do what any other movie has not done. Moreover much more than just a secound of thinking and sadness besides a wonderfull experience..

  • Such a good movie! I would consider it more drama than comedy, especially at the end. Very sad what happens to Thomas, I cried.

  • OH IT'S MACAULAY!

  • It's a movie

  • is going to watch it tonight...

  • only a man without a heart could not like this movie

  • okay guys i am not joking i remember the way he dies and the funeral, but as i got older i seriously thought i just imagined that, cause i could not at the time find out where i had brought up the scenes i could not guess the movie... and my mum and everyone seriously thought i made it uo even i did i thought i dreamed it, and to this day i remember it now again and i still thought it was my imagination intill i my friend said she loved this film, and i was like IT IS A FILM... i was so shocked

  • can someone tell me where i can watch this?? mbeen searching yotube for alot of hours now, still can't find one.

  • @bea730 try movie-links.tv

  • @bea730 Probably best to buy it online on ebay or something or load dvd store, cos can't seem to find it on here either, just odd clips.

  • Vada looks like my best friend Heather from elementary school.

  • I love this movie. :D

  • when i watchedthis i was crying so much that my keyboard was drenched

  • To quote Batman, "Bees. My God."

  • Even the trailer is sooooooo touching!

    makes me wanna cry again

  • Can anybody tell me where can i find just THAT version of the song? ('my girl')

    Please! :):)

  • Ooo.GOD! this movie..another amazing coming-of-age tale. I crazy in love with it! Very heart-breaking and moving but also full of hopes and loves..

Anyway, let me tell you the secret : i'm guy but i cried over this film especially at thomas j's funeral scene ...I mean it! First movie which made me cry

  • @calciumkid85 .. It's very cute of you to say that. Well the movie is really touching and I can't blame you that you cried. because I cried to.. but I'm a guy. yeah. in Thomas J's funeral also. so depressing

  • @calciumkid85 I have to be honest, with you so did i, although i was fairly young at the time when i first saw this film, when it was available on video, the thought of seeing young boy, laid out in an open casket, would bring tears to most people's eyes.

  • @calciumkid85 okay if thomas j is the little boy you just ruined the entire fucken movie then didnt you??!!!! ah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you bitch!!!!!!!

  • @YoUnGBaEz Do u need help? What is wrong with that?

  • @calciumkid85 first,i dont need help thank you for caring :)

    second,wrong with what?

  • @calciumkid85 yeah, I also cried when I watched that scene. It was so moving! I truly felt like I myself lost a friend.

  • @calciumkid85 I can't ever see this with out bawling like a baby. When she starts rocking hersle fand singing, it is so sad.

  • I watched this movie all the time when

I was little! and each time I cried! lmao

    This is a classic!

  • i love this movie.

    lol 1:11 - 1:22 hillarious

  • Ok,I'm tired of everyone voting thumb down on my comments.OMG,all i said was 'It's so sad at the end bacuse the little boy dies =(' I mean it's not like im saying 'Oh,this movie sucks' or anything like that. God...

    (i think!)

  • Love this MOVIE had a memory about it--the scene where the bees come. =C

  • Haha Me too.. I was sitting at work. And the scene where he gets stung popped into my head.. Sad right?

  • i think it has one of the most original stories ever told in a movie. it was marketed as a family movie, and it is, but it's got something else, a very unique movie.

  • @jaybrek one of the best idea for coming-of-age tale ever made in hollywood since "stand by me" (1985) in my account. what underlies the surface is a truly humanity at its' core. I cried (for the first time in account of movie)

  • The trailer makes the movie look like just a cute little becoming of age story which it is but you actually get so much more out of it.

  • true
