  • Nice job. Sometimes a nearby resident can do a better job than the professional news reporters. One technical comment, Yucaipa Regional Park is not a "National Park." National Parks are on federal land and regional parks are on county lands or regional park district lands.

It must be a bit unnerving to see a fire so close to your home. I'm a retired U.S. Forest Service employee and have been on 108 fires. I prefer home ownership in the middle of town! Thanks for this video.

  • I thought you did a great job. You should be a news commentator.

  • Thanks for the video. My son is on a hotshot crew from UT assigned to this fire. Your video gives me a better idea of what he is doing.

  • Ya it was bad but they let me back in today after two days at a inn . . . this is the best video yet . thanks for the info . I live on Fremont st.

  • Hi My name is Sebastian. I used to live in Yucaipa California. I loved it by the way one of the best cities I have ever lived in. I am currently in Highland California near the San Bernardion Air Tanker Base. I was able to take an hour or two away from my desk just to take a few photos of the planes landing, reloading, and taking off back to the Oak Glen fire. I am proud of what these men and women do. I to have a brother who works fighting fires in Oregon. He fights the fires on ground. Thank U

  • these are not the santa ana winds. it is an onshore flow pushing the fire into oak glen

  • Informative and helpful.
