I have autism myself and I am just as discusted as you are, not only for the story but for many normal people who are too ignorant to understand people like me. Society needs to change, badly! Not just for Australia but the rest of the world.

im an american and ur right bout australia bein the best country. our goverment r basically criminals with badges XD ya, im an aspie. autism is in-curable. death is not the answer. the only thing that needs to be cured is ignorence.

I hope that the Australian government start listening to you and people who are of the same opinion as you.
Autism is not going away and is on the increase, politicans should come out of the dark ages and help people with autism and their parents/carers.
Lets hope Austrailia takes notice of the rest of the world and shows some compassion!!!

Aussievoice, understand you are angry, do you have an Autistic child? I have 1 Autistic, 1 Schizophrenic & been thru my latest Centrelink review as sole parent carer. Had to produce kids for them to look at. I think CLink thought after 2 yrs payments they may have been cured. LOL However I am not unhappy with the help I am getting and I have no family backup. Just try and stay positive.
