  • Hetzer Legion, gonna Hetz! Jawohl mein Herr!

  • Still waiting for that big splash?

  • why is it americans are wearing soviet looking uniforms in a german tank?

  • @Nottaname141 They're german uniforms.

  • GOT IT!! ; ya?

  • Wo kriegen die Amis nur immer ihr Spielzeug her?

  • 0:13 LOOK AT THE SMILEY FACE ON THE ENGINE HATCH!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH <3 HETZER

  • shit i was just around the corner with a panzerhaust, wow what a blast.

  • hetzer is little beast

  • Quite nippy.

Does anyone know if that was using the original engine?

  • Hetzer's gonna hetz ♥

  • Hetzer = technik Czechoslovakia T38!

  • @svk1939 lol i was born in Czecho Slovakia

  • Hertzer Rent-A-Tank?

  • that's a hetzer with ferrari engine..

  • @brizcanon xD

  • God, that looks like so much fun

  • Awesome! It's great to see old war wagons still moving around. Ausgezeichnet!

  • Hetzer's gonna hetz

  • @GeneralNutcase Yeah....they hetz a lot ;D

  • Ну, "big splash" - слишком громко сказано, но выглядит Хетцер повнушительнее, чем в WoT:)

  • Hetzers gonna hetz! [2]

  • Hetzers gonna hetz!

  • @aegisofrime wtf two same top comments?

  • Opa hat gleich Tränen der Freude in den Augen.

  • I'm curious, did you use an original Hetzer chassis? If not, what kind of chassis did you use for the conversion?

  • very good video, but a big splash is a other thing

  • What an awsome hetzer Y

  • you can see why german tankers loved this vehicle.. it's small, really fast and can easily be covered. three essential things in the west because of allied air superiority. other tanks were easy targets for fighter bombers.

  • @ApocDevTeam The idea that allied tactical aircraft were a threat to tanks is a myth. Only about 5% of German armor was destroyed by aircraft.

  • i dont like it when americans have Wehrmachts clothes first americans say nazis to germany then he have clothes from Wehrmacht .....

  • warum haben die kleidung der wehrmacht an?

  • @TheNestrohn mhmmm nice question .... xD

  • gut gut für alle die das ankucken und das spiel noch nicht haben und es haben wollen es heißt World of Tanks zum download auf der seite

  • The uniforms are perfect too

  • This little thing had to be fast to get behind the larger allied tanks. Checking out some posts below, someone says the StuG III is faster: No. The Hetzer is slightly faster than the StuG III. Also someone mentions the "to agitate". My understanding is the name meant "baiter". After all, if your rolling in an M4 and you see this little thing, your probably laughing and charging ahead trying to blow it up. You just took the bait.

  • Oh man if I'd see that rushing me I'd piss in my pants D:

  • hetzer's gunna hetze

  • nice Hetzer!

  • Whaaat a biiigg splash!...

  • Hetzers gonna Hetz!

  • the problem with the nazi war machine: too many gigantic, worthless tanks. russia and the us could build so many shermans/T-34s for every tiger the germans had.

however, the hetzer was one of the few designs which did perform precisely as planned

  • @DasFunkwagen

    and it was cute! :D

  • Very cool!

  • good ole 2nd panzer division.

  • dayum that tank looks to be the size of a 4x4 pickup

  • ★★★★★

  • The Hetzer was one of the greatest tank destroyers of the WW2 simply great, great machine with excellent mobility and firepower!

  • Hey RandyBriscoe.

Is this an original wartime Hetzer or a swiss post-war G13? Could´nt see the idler wheel during the driveby ;-)

  • king tiger 1 owns sherman at 1000 m a fucking armor and a great 88mm cannon michael wittman owns with one tiger

  • @narcoice Was there a King Tiger 2 then?

At least a Sherman doesn't break down ;)

And how many Shermans could the US build before the Germans could make one KT?

  • @Henners1991 The Tiger II was laughable; why some people still consider it "the ultimate tank" is beyond me...

  • Speedy little bastard, isn't it? It's tiny, too. Maybe 5 feet tall, can hide inside a bush, kill a Sherman at 800m and then scoot away and hide someplace else. They weren't good at long distance and couldn't traverse very far, but they were GREAT for ambushes.

They could have done a lot with these if they'd been implemented earlier and in greater numbers, but Hitler didn't turn on to them until he'd already squandered all his money on useless gigantic tanks that barely ran.

  • @Bullzeye95 Dumbass, the "useless gigantic tanks" slaughtered our tanks at a ratio of 9 to 1. So what would that make our Shermans - Useless X 9???

  • The late heavy tanks like Tiger and Panther slaughtered because of excellent armor and armament, but the chassis and tracks were too complicated to run solid.

  • @Robert111 Depends, could the allies produce 9 Shermans for every "useless gigantic tank"? I don't know.

  • @Henners1991 Russians and Americans together = about 100,000 Shermans and T-34. I think that they easily had 10 tanks for each German heavy armor...

However the stats show that against those super-heavies the Amis often lost 5 Shermans to destroy it while the Russians lost 9 T-34.

  • @oOCrossroadsOo And at the end of the day it was still clear that the countries with the superior productive capabilities proved victorious, no?

  • @Henners1991 Germany could have done it too, but they had too many different tanks that were too sophisticated ^^

  • 5*'s

    Great weapon!

  • nice little fella 5*

is it original hetzer or postwar czechoslovak g13 mocked up ?

  • Hilfe ist der schnell.

  • probly a silly qustion, but what does 'hetzer' mean?

  • @tclandscapes baiter

  • Hetzer means a Thing/Person that makes you to speed up... . Uhm, like a dude screaming to you in traffic, something like "move your ass" than we Germans would call him a "Hetzer" =)

  • @NeoJD ohh thanks mate.

  • When i was stationed in Germany in the late 80's this old guy that worked in our potor pool drove Hetzers on the west front.. He had some good stories. He really liked the Hetzer.

  • Hetzer is best WW2 system. Bad for germans ist make hetzer so late.

  • nice ride! lol

  • there aint any 'big splash'

  • but think, if fat boy hetzer fell into a pool lol. itd be like big mama falling into one

  • where is the big splash ?

  • I'd say the beginning was fairly big for a WW2, thin-tracked tank destroyer...

  • Usually radio tells you when to release some fake smoke or something. The soldiers let a bit of imagination fly, they rehearse who will die and who survive also.

  • To the contrary, battles are typically not scripted. Only at public events is it pre-determined who will win, lose, die, and live.

  • GdaMaster, we smack head of a dimwit like you in it : )

    No offence, just kidding.

  • the hetzer is fast!

  • @hobojakobo

u dont understand german right? the hetzer... and the verb "hetzen"...

hetzen means "to agitate" ... ;)

  • @hobojakobo Stug III is much faster =)

  • @hobojakobo Thats actually quite slow for a tank believe or not. Especially compared to a modern day M1 Abrams which can travel at a top speed of 60 mph.

  • @muffinmanxxx321 listen to this moron.... A1M1 is made 40 years after this dude and has 10 times more hp

  • @hrvatskasad Really? Is that why I put compared to a MODERN DAY M1 Abrams? You call me a moron and yet you can barely read one simple sentence. How sad...

  • @hobojakobo because it's with new engine!

  • How do you know when youre dead?

  • I dont understand those reenactments. You shoot blanks right? But then, how do you destroy a tank?

  • It's just smoke and mirrors. >.>

  • And how do people die?

  • Mostly smoke. The mirror thing wasn't really working out for us so much.

  • Haha "dam another destroyed mirror" it gets pricey

  • @RandyBriscoe how many tanks for reenactment do exists? Are they mostly restored ww2 tanks or simplified vehicles or what?

  • ausgezeichnet

  • gives u an idea of how fast the blitzkrieg must hav been ,but the narrow tracks bogged it down in the russian mud

  • Hetzer : old chap but still young looking ^^

  • well well, the hetzer jester. nice to see you online! hope all is well. how is your PzIV project coming? I have yet to see Perry's Schwimmer, but i heard it is nice.

    ~Wolfgang Reichberg

  • 5*****

  • Small but deadly.

  • yeah

the hetzer has a small silhouette

and the sloping shape is better protecting then thicker amor

  • It's not a tank, it's a tank destroyer.

  • Der Hetzer wurde später bei der Bundeswehr als Beobachtungspanzer eingesetzt bei den Aufklärern.Als der "Fuchs" kam wurde er nach und nach abgelöst und verschrottet.Schönes Video,danke:-)

  • damn that is pretty quick!

  • Haha, these things look even smaller when they're actually moving!

  • that's why I'm sitting on the deck...the transmission has that pre-select feature where you can move the shift selector to whatever gear you think you'll need next, either up, down or skip several. To engage the selected gear just push down on the big heavy clutch. Just to keep things interesting, the brake is on the right, throttle in the middle. Randy

  • Yes, that´s called a planetary transmission.

Nothing special, our trucks had this "feature" long time ago (same as some JS-2 and other tanks in czechoslovakia service in 1950+)

  • this is a good driver! not everyone can go with this transmission =P

    g13 is better =D

  • i'm totally jealous - love the hetzer - glad you guys are having fun with them. is it swiss or an original german? not that it matters - they're the same thing anyway ..

  • alot smaller then i thought. but its fast and has sloped armor

  • No this Hetzer 38T is not a replica its in our group. 2nd Panzer. Also this event is called Steelnact. Its a tactical

  • Actually the Hetzer came late in the war and was a great piece of equipment for the Germans - one of the best tanks in the war along with the stug III - great video

  • goes rather well

  • dam fast!!! I thought i was watching the modern bundeswehr lol!!

  • @ponchoyo after WW2 ended, the Germans built something called the kanonenjagdpanzer, which is essentially a Hetzer with a 90mm gun and a new chassis.

  • hmmm y cant u show more of the last frame...

and i cant tell, but it is probably a Pak40 but just maby u guys have a Pak43/41 8.8cm and that would be awesome... but the barrel would be longer for an 88 yes ?

  • most vechicles were fast. its only that you see the u.s and co. films and they use their slow tactics instead of the fast paced tactic of the germans!

  • Damn, that needs to come to our Florida events. Very cool.

  • What is this event? Is this Hetzer a replica?

  • damn, that thing is fast for that time

  • Great Clip very cool.
