@megaidoitboy2 Ran's pattern is left, down, up, right, down, up, left, etc. The butterflies she creates when she jumps FROM the down position are too low to hit you even when you're as far down as you can go, so you can mostly ignore them. Since that's the case, you can just worry about dodging Ran and Yukari's bullets. Also, moving in the same direction as her will give you more room and time to dodge her bullets since she flies AT you from the side to the bottom. Slow movements are best.
@MrSpeedy106 You don't actually "do" anything with the captured spell cards. Capturing a card just means you completed it without dying or bombing (in my opinion, breaking a border bonus should also count as a bomb). Capturing a card just adds to your record a bit. I'd like to be able to no miss Yukari, but just capturing all her cards at one point or another is fine for me.
@joeyschuppe2 If you can beat Flandre, you can beat pretty much any other extra stage boss. Flandre is generally agreed to be the hardest extra boss. If nothing else, give Suwako (10) or Mokou (8) a try. Those are two of the easier ones. Give it some practice and you'll beat a few more.
@joeyschuppe2 Lots of nice tricks you can do with the border girl team to make Mokou a lot easier. You could probably practice Suwako with Marisa B(otched). I think she's still the only one I haven't captured the time-out cards for, but she still has all the other easiest cards.

@NeonBlack23 well i finally beat ran and unlocked phantasm, now to work on getting part butterfly in the zen temple and double.. death? butterfly also why do you use the needles instead of homing amulet? just curious
@A13x15 I use needles for power in this run. Honestly, when I feel too lazy to aim, I use homing amulet, too, but for most big boss runs, I use needles.
@C0DESUB When the cards at the end of that card turn white, there is supposed to be a slowdown. I can see that causing lag, though, I often lag when I capture some cards in game and the bullets all turn to point cards, especially when lots of bullets are on the screen.
Yay! Annotations! Well, I just had my first try on this stage, having beaten all other extras... well, got to her 7th or 8th card (can't remember) on my freakin' first try. Yeah, the stage's harder.
@NeonBlack23 Soo...just beat the Phantasm. Children's play compared to Koishi. Well, I ended up having 0 lives and 0 bombs in the end, but...the stage was certainly more annoying than Yukari.
@NeonBlack23 Haha, I'd actually say slightly different. I've practiced the stage so many times now that I can almost perfect it. The only parts that give me trouble are the spewing of the fast and random yellow bullets and Ran's first spell card (sometimes). I wouldn't exactly say Yukari is EASY, though, but she is quite fun, even though I haven't beaten her yet (I can make it to her final spell card) :3

Yukari is a very easy boss. The stage is killer and some of the cards can really take a toll on you, but overall she's easy enough to be very fun.
