Plastic looks cheaper than carpet. ALso most cars have the back of their rear seats carpeted and it has worked well over years. Also take notice that people buying a 5 series will rarely load their car's trunk with dirty stuff.

The interior smelled so damn good. I was astonished by the amount of chrome and metal on the car. Hell, even when you flick the turn signal, you hear metal snapping instead of plastic. They just don't make 'em like they used to. =(

I actually grew to really love the redesigned interior of the 5 series, although the exterior not so much. The previous 5 series looks like a golf cart on the inside. I wonder if the 5 series still has the problem with the high pressure fuel pump? Made me completely change my mind to LEXUS for my next vehicle. Nothing reliable about these vehicles.

My acura rapes most any interior of cars not priced above 100000$. i would know this because one of my best friends drives a 335i, my mother has a merc, my dad drives a Expedition and 2 Porsches. My acura is the nicest one. Your just a fanboy who will always buy Bmws, and theres nothing wrong with that, its just dull
