@lordofwrath88 i know.. Wall-E and Up should have been nominated.. Toy Story 3 MUST be! I think in a way the academy will as a tribut to Pixars overall work in the last 15 years.. truly amazing.

if. the academy is very biased. animated films have never gotten the respect they deserve from the academy. toy story 3 will be nominated, but it won't win.

@FalseLieStudios I don't even think Toy Story 3 will even be nominated, although i'd be damn pleased if they did. Up only got nominated very grudgingly, after the fix that was 2009 with Wall-E. What film gets nominated for 6 Oscars including Screenplay but doesn't get nominated for Best Picture? Imo, Wall-E, Up, Monsters Inc., Finding Nemo all deserved nominations.

Why are they implying that the end sequence of The Fox and the Hound was of an inferior quality? It was one of the best final climactic sequences of any Disney film, both back then and now.

@2MKcreations that's not what he meant. You gotta remember those guys were personally taught by the nine old men, who literally wrote the book on how to animate. Today there are many fine schools of animation that one can attend, and it is thanks to those very people.
