This guy has an incredible instrumental voice and evidently has earned it as a professor with a PhD in Musicology. Also consulted and sang on the "Cold Mountain" soundtrack.
I'm in the same boat as Rob...Words can express. It was just memories, and emotions. Sounds stupid but when I hear this I am reminded of my grandfather. Amazing. Thank you.
Tim, this is above and beyond! I have been a fan for a log time and loved your banjo version of this song...........but this took me to that place......you know which one. God bless the voice.....God bless you! You awaken the artist in me........Thanks!
This is a beautiful tune, and I love the brook sound behind, and the beautiful scenery.
My favorite version of this tune is with the words from Lloyd hymnal that the Lees sing. I hdan't thought of putting Amazing Grace to it, but it works pretty well.
There's an old record of versions of Louie Louie ranging from Black Flag to some college marching band, but I'm not aware of an Amazing Grace tribute record. Probably on the way though...
Your voice is beautiful as always on this one but I prefer the other version where you are playing the banjo. How many versions are there? Keep 'em coming! Thank you for your music!
That's the most amazing grace aa've ever heard!!!

Good God. I want to crawl inside your voice and live there. You sing, boy. Sing!

Has anyone done an album filled with versions of Amazing Grace?
Like the others, I'm a Fiducia fan and am rooting for your recorded version. I do appreicate the rippling of the water behind your voice, though.

You are the perfect vehicle for the other version, you and your voice and the banjo, a driving force. That's my vote.

The Fiducia version is my favorite! Though this comes in second but the first one you recorded is amazing, and got me to enjoy the song!

Both are great, but the previous version is one I've never heard before.

I definitely enjoyed this, but I still prefer the driving sound of the "Fiducia".
