It doesn't look like that any more. thank you for sharing. the first time I drove through after the fire I had to stop. I was so sad. every thing was gone. trees I have watched grow from when I was a kid gone. furn groves gone. it looked like the moon. At least we have your vid . folks can see what it looked like before the fire. nice vid.
@kowz4u Indeed it does not, I have been working on getting some current pictures, to document the change and thinking about starting a reforest campaign..
@labearforyou How do you go about that? Were do folks get non hybrid trees? the other thing they did was they put asphalt on all turn outs. If I wanted to park in a parking lot I would stay home. Booo for asphalt.
@kowz4u I am not, been asking around how to either start something or join in on it. I personally am glad for the asphalt in the turn outs, because often when I was leading rides up there and we needed to pull out to stop or let cars pass it was sometimes a hazard...and besides they have to do that to comply with state road standards, which the crest has sorely been lacking in for years. The Big Tujunga Cyn upgrade was one that took forever and we have the fire to thank for getting completed
