  • Thank you for posting! Not only did OKeh do lots of location recording, their recording process was one of the best out there, so you end up with great discs like this one in good quantity! Not as plentiful as Victor, but still there all the same.

  • @MrXnews Oh yes, Okeh was famous for it's notations of "Recorded in________" throughout this period.  They covered the country with their portable recording equipment, giving us some of the most priceless discs ever pressed between 1920 and 1930.

  • The song may have been recorded by a territory band, but you're sharing it with the world. This is one of the hottest dance bands of the era!
