One reason I left was I wasn't getting anywhere with the alternative type women who hung around with my mates and went to the pubs we all hung out in. A mate said I'd be better off dressing smart and going to some trendy bar or club to get a woman as the alternative type women were not interested in me. Another was because I just got fed up dressing like a punk. I still like the music though and still listen to it a lot.

I used to be a real punk between the years 1984 and 1989 from when I was aged 18 to 23. So I know what I am talking about. I used to live up in North Staffordshire back then in a place renowned for good punk bands like The Skeptix and Discharge. I can say without contradiction that Beki DOES NOT wear animal products of ANY KIND ! She had leather boots and jacket given to her aged 14 which she since dumped. Beki fervently supports all animal charities and is member of many animal support organisations here in the UK and was the first person EVER to release a song against vivisection !!
