Hey iv been trying to remember an Amega Commodore game a used to play. The charcter wore a big yellow hard hat that he kinda hid under. The level i remember the most looks like the level on your video for the first Rick Dangerous game. Anyone know of this id really apprieciate it :D

they're all beautiful, thank you, but i'll never find the one i want cause i don't remember almost anything about it, only that the game was one of those that changed radically from stage to stage, different perspective and controls, and one of those stages was, i think, in an urban scene, a car, small, a road from a racing game perspective, the lotus esprit way, and i remember distinctly a castle or fortress(sci-fi or cyberpunk) constantly seen in front and slowly approaching as you went.

james pond robocod (and jamespond2) were games I played for hours, weeks, days and months at a time. Often I'd give up and start again weeks later. I never finished those very long platform games and found that they became too weird and abstract after a while (odd repeating graphics, and lack of sleep etc). I always wanted to like that game (and sequel) more than I did.

Awesome video man! U left out a bucnh of classics too, but how could you not! The Amiga was the best gaming platform ever with tons of awesome games, and might still be.., yeah ok we got better gfx etc today, but the puzzles, mood and gameplay - Not to mention the satisfaction when you finally got past a point you were stuck for weeks on is still something to be matched by todays games!! :) Grade A nostalgia trip here m8! ;)

After moaning for years that I should never have sold my Amiga 500 (especially to the staff's children who fucking destroyed it in a month!) my girlfriend has bought me one for Christmas! This brought back some massive memories. can't believe how many of these games were my childhood. I know people harp about what games weren't put in your vid, so I won't say "you forgot blah". You chose 100 out of many worthy choices. But some that I did enjoy that did not make it- Monkey Island 2, Hybris, Dark Seed, Space Ace, Cool Man, Day of the Tentacle, Walker... Some more, but these comes straight to mind. Thanks for sharing :)

It was shown in the video, I remember tanks and stations, but I can't recall Zeppelins off the top of my head (but then I haven't played it in nearly 20 years, so I could easily be wrong). Set in WWII, you were a fighter pilot taking on different types of missions as you help the Allies kick some Axis butt.

7:15 - Hired Guns. In my opinion one of THE best games ever. From the same guys who did Lemmings and a lot later the Grand Theft Auto series. So polished - the game came with around 5 different manuals including a novella to set the seen. For me, it ranks along side Monkey Island 1-2, Half life 1-2 and Baldur's Gate 2 as the best games I gave played...

if i wanted to play some of that legally today i couldn't. Games and computer technology will and is getting lost in time. Books is stored in libraries, but what about games and tech from different eras. 5-10years more, and it will have vanished to only being an article on wikipedia with only one or to images. This is really sad as i missed the 80's tech, and i REALLY would have like it. There's something about pixel artwork, and metal knobs. :(

Centurion - Defender of Rome. I remember playing it and Sword of the Samurai DOS versions. Anyway, I remember Centurion being quite enjoyable. I remember losing the PC copy and then trying to replace it with a Genesis copy and learning the cruel lesson of how shitty strategy games are on consoles. Great game but poor controls through anything other then a mouse and keyboard. Nice to see again.
