  • This is bullshit. I eat one hostess pack a day after dinner and i keep my calories at about 1000 a day and work out everyday and i have been losing weight constantly.

  • @moe761 Good for you.. but 1,000 calories per day sounds more like anorexia. Yes, you'll lose weight eating just 1,000 per day...but your thyroid will be shot to hell, and you'll eventually gain all that weight back. Oprah Winfrey is a perfect example of this fact. Want to look like Oprah in 5 years? Keep eating those hostess packs :)

  • 100 calories from an apple would be MUCH MUCH healthier than 100 calories from high fructose corn syrup, sugar, flour, and a bunch of other funky stuff...That's the main point. In fact, all of these ingredients, in ANY quantity, whether 100 calories or 1,000 will cause MAJOR FAT STORAGE

  • What I like are the 100 calorie Granola bar packs. Are those any good for you/ i don't know. I think they use corn syurp as a bonding agent or what ever.

    I would think that as a between breakfast/lunch and/or a between lunch/diner snack.

    Are these a waste of time/money as well? Thanks

  • Davion, my friend, corn syrup is sugar. And any food that requires a "bonding agent" is not a good thing ;)

    A much better snack would be something that comes from nature (fruits, lean meat, nuts, veggies. These are the kinds of foods that we (humans) have been eating since the dawn of time. These foods NEVER made us fat.

    The addictive, sweetened, processed, chemical laden "health foods" manufactured by chemists is what has made/makes the western civilization fat.

  • i still prefer to just eat a lot of fruit, meat, whole wheat, 0% milk and veggies. i agree tho there so many chemicals in all that type of food that you're body doesnt need. drinking a lot of water is good also. sugar is just as bad as calories. sugar is energy but if you dont use that sugar it turns into fat. so i would say watch your calorie, fat and sugar intake. good video

    Anyways. This video was actually pretty helpful. My sister in law is a vegetarian and eats these all the time...too bad she doesn't know there is beef fat in them...

    btw. I'm "glad" that you are not some crazy vegan freak. lol. it sounds kinda bad, but I'm sick of all that. Kudos to the shot, picked, or organic rule. :)

  • Curiosity... I always have heard that you shouldn't eat anything that has more than 10 ingredients in it. Is this a good rule to follow or bogus?
