@DanielCMM manchester has a fair sized skyline for a relatively medium sized city. This video shows a view heading away from the city centre. New towers are going up in manchester, there is the planned albany crowned tower and the picadilly tower which is apparently going to be taller than the beetham.

In addition manchester is more widely known for its old buildings anyway, for example the great library and the town hall which are both very famous
