why would hardware be called 3.0?? it makes no sense. Only software has a point to be called 3.0 because it can be updated to 3.5 e.t.c. The physical keyboard prediction was the worst idea i heard, and thank god the 3gs will not have one. I would definately not buy an iphone with a keyboard.

The reason Apple makes the 'chin' for the iMac is because of space. Imagine having to fit everything the iMac has right now, but into a 24" display in front of it. The only way you could do that is if it was (significantly, like a half inch) thicker, OR, if Apple releases a 30" iMac (which would be revolutionary, and is not likely to happen anytime soon).

i think once the devices that can connect through the universal dock are released a 1st or 3rd party external mini keyboard may be able to connect (prob size of iPhone [rather than just the screen] and ability to fold up) What are your thoughts?

well in order for that 3rd party keyboard to work through the dock or bluetooth it needs a custom app so they'd need to put all the essentials you;d need the keyboard for in one app

that is unless Apple allows background processes

Lol why does AT&T have to "upgrade their network" because of video calling? Her e in the UK we've got millions of people using mobile broadband via the cellular networks (video streaming, etc via laptops) and nothing's had to change. Hmm.

I only care about the iphone.... I have rejected buying a 3g for this 3.0 model and everything sounds great. However if they put in an actual key board then that would put me off getting the 3.0 altogether. Also you didn't mention the upgrade in the mega pixles in the camera. From what i've heard that was the number one confirmed new feature.

i couldn't agree more on the ebook reader (that actually can do much more than that). it makes perfect sense in combination with something elegant as the itunes store. and if they manage to include magazines and newspapers in that business model the might as well save the newspaper / magazine industry. fingers crossed!

ROFL! Physical Keyboard... on the iPhone. Apple has specifically said that they want the iPhone to be one of the most button-less phones on the market. It's easier for them because they don't need to manufacture 100 different types of phones to accommodate different languages. He really needs to check his sources even if he thinks they are reliable.

I have to say Jon, you're off base on a lot of you predictions. First, a netbook is very possible...just not in the way it's done before. There's no market for a E-Book reader...the Kindle has showed that. Also, there's no way there will be buttons on the iPhone. Ever. The idea behind the iPhone was it's simplicity because it had no buttons. Sorry man, you're off quite a bit on these predictions...

it only removes the layer video that is the exact hex code of the colour, most peoples eyes arent coloured bright lime green, so nothing would happen. Most studios use Blue when using the green screen effect.

Yes you should. The reason is because if their isn't a new iphone in June then you can always go back to buying the iphone 3g, but if their is then you won't have to worry about early termination charges if you decided to also buy the new iphone. I bought my iphone about 8 week ago, and if their is a new iphone coming out I really don't mind paying for an early upgrade and early termination charges. Really it is up to you if you decided to buy an iphone now or wait until June!

I like the touch screen kb :-) Its one of the things that sets the iphone apart from many of the other phones out there.

The mac mini should be dropped down a bit, it barely sells.

The imac has a good price tag.

The macbooks need a serious price drop. Feel like the white 2009 macbook should be discontinued and the 13 inch aluminum with no illuminated keyboard should drop to $1000

Probably a bit late but I thought Apple would have come out with a mini laptop to rival the ASUS EEEs that have been blowing up the spot for some time. People have hacked EEEs to use OSX anyway which seems cool. It's all about small/lightweight functionality I'd say. Don't know much about iPhones so you'll probably tell me they do everything anyway but you can't beat a nice small laptop and Apple should follow suit to the ASUS EEE. Apple would make a killing...
