Enrico, what channel and amp settings are you using for the 4th and 5th position starting at 3:55? I also have a valvestate and a nice strat, but I don't quite have the right settings to get that type of sound.

Hi MrFred, the channel I used was even the "clean" channel. I'm sorry I can't remeber the setting because this video has 2 years and now I have the Fender hot rod deluxe. Probably the sound you like is from Boss GT5 (preamp, compression, reverb, delay and chorus.....)!

This valve really does nothing for the sound its more like how do you say. A Cool thing to have as it probably makes you the musician think that you are getting something from it. Well you are but very little believe me. Also do not go messing around with the Valve i think mine was a 1200 something i purchased a spare from Russia. Ok it ain't got Marshall on the glass but who cares.Its a much more sturdy Valve than the one Marshall put in there.

You will notice the noice coming from the amp in this vid and sounds like something affecting it. The problem with these amps is when you hook up external pedals rather than the one which comes with the amp you cannot get rid of this horrid noise. I don't rate these amps at all. They might have Marshall on the front but they are cheapy. Get yourself a JCM with proper valves. Half or full stack.I used mine for gigs after the first gig that was enough.

Hi malmsteen, sorry I never change nothing in my amp... I don't know. You can try to ask in your musical instruments shop.

E' vero....l'inglese fa cagare.... ma l'intento del video è di aiutare qualcuno a scegliere una chitarra facendosi un'idea del suono. Anzi, colgo l'occasione per dire a tutti coloro che sulle CS 60 cambiano i pickup che tanto vale comprare direttamente un'altra chitarra. C'è chi vuole una strato con il suono di una PRS o Ibanez "Vai". Io non lo condivido, ma è una mia idea.....

Scusa l'ignoranza ma vorrei togliermi alcuni dubbi, cosa cambia fra la tua Fender e una Stratocaster Custom Shop 1991?

Il Custom Shop della Fender nasce nel 1987, la produzione Time Machine (nelle varianti relic, closet classic e nos) nasce nel 2000. Nella teoria cambia poco, le chitarre del CS sono tutte ottimi strumenti, ma una CS del 1991 è sicuramente più difficle da trovare oltre che ha 14 anni di stagionatura in più della mia.

COMPLIMENTI BEL SUONO....Tutte le volte che suono e sento suonare questa chitarra mi vengono i brividi. Ne hò una anche io del 1983 con un Marshall di 10 anni fà. Mi trovo benissimo e tante tante soddisfazioni tutti i giorni.

Grazie dei complimenti Fenderfan, il tuo nick mi trova totalmente d'accordo... Tra fenderisti e gibsoniani non ho dubbi. Come disse una volta Clapton "ho lasciato la gibson perchè era troppo facile da suonare, la strato mi da ancora filo da torcere!". Comunque ha ragione Gabaz, ci vuole un fender valvolare per esaltare una CS.

Ciao Gabaz76, a parte l'inglese (giuro non lo faccio più).. la strato l'ho pagata un botto, 2.300 iuro, però l'ho ammortizzata vendendo una strato del 1979 (peso 18 KG)e una ovation.

Quanto al valvolare hai ragione ma il marshall ce l'ho da 11 anni e al momento sto dando priorità agli effetti perchè il Boss GT5non mi soddisfa.

Grazie dei complimenti. Comunque a dire la verità non sono soddisfattissimo del mio multieffetto digitale(Boss GT) che non regge il confronto con gli effetti a pedale.... Per la chitarra, comunque, la standard è sicuramente buona anche se ti consiglierei di valutare una vintage 62 usata.......!!

Il brano è "You and your friend", non so dirti l'album.

La chitarra è una '60 custom shop della serie Time Machine. E' una closet classic che in pratica, come invecchiamento, sarebbe la via di mezzo tra la relic e la nos (new old stock).
