  • LONG LIVE HITLER !! 18 rules!!! without the plane they would lose the war

  • foubar

  • no it isnt as long as you can read it everything should be ok can you understand that is there a noun out of place if your getting a headache from reading my comments i can assure you you most likely have a brain tumor as this is simple to understand get yourself to the docters straight away tumors kill

  • A fundamental theme in this movie concerns the sacrifices a squad of men make in order to save one soldier. Throughout the movie, Captain Miller and his troops question their mission, and they continually try to make sense out of it

    I don't get it.

Since they are fighting in a war, it doesn't matter what their mission is. Being combat soldiers in WWII, any one of them is subject to get killed at anytime - that was obvious in the opening scene of the movie. I don't get it.

  • @Slipgut actually, captain miller never questioned the mission. there was a line in the movie where miller says something to the extent of "i don't know this ryan, and i don't care, but if saving him earns me the right to go home and see my wife, then that's my mission". in another scene miller even goes as far as to pretend to be talking to his superiors and praises the idea of the mission (kissing ass). the only character to speak out on the mission (i think) was reiben.

  • @07foxmulderI do see your point; nevertheless, I still believe the squad - including Cpt. Miller - questioned the mission. Well, maybe "questioned" isn't the right word (accept in Reiben's case), but I believe the mission was a matter of concern even for Miller. Recall what the Captain said to SGT. Horvath: "He better be worth it. He better go home and cure a disease, or invent a longer-lasting light bulb..." Again, why are they taking issue with their mission? It's a war!

  • @Slipgut well played lol i forgot about that line. i guess there could be arguments from both ends; which is what makes the movie so great. i guess the issue that each character could have is that the army is sending 8 (?) soldiers to save the life of 1. it's not like another platoon is in need of assistance. then again, people are going to question their superior's orders no matter what. human nature.

  • @07foxmulder Indeed, but my point of contention is this: they are all fighting in a war. Even if they weren't on the mission to save Ryan, there's a good chance some of them would end up being killed on some other sortie.. Hell, a soldier might be taking a crap somewhere behind enemy lines and catch some shrapnel in the brain while doing it. Such as it is, why should Miller's squad elicit so much concern in regards to risking their lives for the sake of one soldier?

  • There is a sequel to this movie. They go back to look for Ryan balls after they get shot off.....It's called Saving Ryans Privates

  • Best movie ever....

  • 5:45 i always wonder what song is that

  • The scene where he can't hear anything reminds me of the geyser scene in Ice Age 2

  • Why is the most liked comment a racist joke? Is this what our soldiers fought for? pathetic.

  • @dionusos2 Not in this war. See any buffalo soldiers in this movie? Nope most of them where transferred to rear echelon duties and if they were fighting there was no mixed units. Just like the Japanese and Hispanic groups.

  • @dionusos2 yep the faught for a free world where you can have a laugh and a joke instead of kill joys like you making the world unbearably serious and boring its no good not making a joke about someone because of colour or nationality otherwise they would feel different like your trying to hard not to upset them which would make things awkward its ok to make jokes as long as there jokes start going on about a superior race then its to far ...............peace out

  • @jazzas90000 I'm sorry. Did you drop out of your ESL classes?

  • @dionusos2 no i didnt im just telling you to lighten up alot you take the comment very seriously next time you see something you dont like take a deep breath and move on instead of spouting out bull shit that nobody wants to see

  • @jazzas90000 You didn't? I hope to god English isn't your first language. I won't take your advice, and not because you don't follow your own.

  • @dionusos2 peole like you annoy absolutely everybody my english is understandable your not replying to what im talking about yo are goin on about my language my first language is russian by the way and also nobody cares about grammer on a fucking youtube comment section you fool

  • @jazzas90000 I don't care about minor grammatical mistakes. But your English is almost unintelligble--which is why I won't bother replying to you. It's giving me a headache.

  • Try being a vet and run into enemy territory in real life and you will only respawn in heaven

  • @dolphinsredskins Medic? Not vet that is for animals!

  • "Führer Führer, what we done?

    Now this country's overrun

By Jews and Blacks and Yellow scum

Führer Führer what do we do?

We should have left it up to you

    Commies, fags and fucking jews

  • @TheHitlerFanClub If you went missing no one would look. Hell, no one would care. You are the reason humanity is failing.

  • @10Messi18 Don't sweat it. There's not going to be a Nazi re-run any time soon. mores the pity really.

  • Dart11112 u need 2 stop playing call of duty and get a life

  • I always salute Captain J.H Miller. God bless you.

  • I've seen the whole movie and I love it.

  • why are these fucking noobs camping?

  • we all need to "EARN IT"

  • 4:00 Last stand noob.

  • @SpaceFilmStudios Too much Call of duty much?

  • @CaptainMaloy1001 Yes, very.

  • I'm spanish and though I really like our dub i got to say that original version is much much better.

  • 'upham!'............BANG!..............yes!

  • that iy was apham i whod kill the crap out of tthose germans at 3:0

  • it'd be funny after that tank blows up he looks at his gun in satisfaction

  • going to the Alamo!

  • @quest8899

An Englishman, Frenchman, Mexican, and Texan were flying on a small plane when the pilot says " the only way we can make it to the next airport is for 3 of you to jump out". The four open the door and look out below. The Englishman takes a deep breath and hollers "God Save The Queen" and jumps. The Frenchman gets really inspired and hollers "Viva La France" and he also jumps. This really pumps up the Texan so he hollers "Remember the Alamo" andthrows the Mexican out of the plane.

  • At 1:23, the German commander in the tank tells his gunner "100 meters, eleven o clock"

  • ما أعظم الايمان بالعمل الذى يؤديه الفرد منا

what a such thinking in a certain subject

  • In any Battlefield game, every time my friends or I shoot a tank and it explodes, we make a joke about "Tom Hanksing the tank."

  • @SwaffyX Well, Mustang got tank, not Hanks.

  • @TheXWitcher Yeah, I know. I was talking about shooting a tank with our M1911 [or any kind of pistol] when it blows up.

  • 2:14 nathan horton on the bruins?????

  • Hmm...blows up a tank with a pistol. Strange

  • @hippieking Are you blind? That dont see Mustang flew over there.

  • @TheXWitcher Oh, ok

  • I hate those tiny T-34 tracks on this "Tigers" i would prefered a real Panzer IV instead of two fake T-34 tigers.

  • Upham... BANG!

  • @dstruxness I never get tired of watching that scene!

  • p 51's r fricken awesome

  • earn this.... earn it

    chills every time

  • The tiger tank is a T-34 with stuff added on to make it look like a tiger tank. Shame theirs no brits in this film.

  • I can't believe the translator did something for once!

  • @TheTrueGehrhart it's not translation if it's the same language. You probably mean subtitles.

  • @KaningLamigin he's talking about the wimpy translator guy in the movie who sat back and didn't do shit until the very end where he captured those germans and executed that one piece of shit

  • @skidrow09 oh. I forgot that he was a translator. I thought he was a nuisance :D

  • Comment removed

  • Its strange, the the Tiger tracks are wider than this Tiger tracks, its somekind of fake tank, no?

  • @ShagohodArkan Obviously!? it's a film.

  • @goldsut Cause nobody really wins wars. Too much death, very few results.

  • i love this scene

  • im shoking

  • One thing I don't get about this movie, other than the butload of inaccuracies and german zombies being mowed down like retards, is the "moral of the story" when Upham grows a pair, takes prisoners, and then shows his manliness by killing an unarmed man with his hands in the air.

    Real Macho.

A+ to the Jew that wrote this movie. :/

  • @SeppLainer german zombies eh. been playing too much cod havnt ya kid?

  • @joshkkv

Reread and put it in context with the video....

by "zombies" I mean german soldiers acting like chickens with their heads cut off running about being shot and not doing much of anything but being mowed down...

as if that's how they fought...

  • @SeppLainer no you didn't get it upham tried to be what he was at first but war is chaotic and changes your perspective.when he tried to convince his platoon to free that german and then he saw him come back and kill some americans he realized they should have killed him when they caught him...and the moral of the story is ..in war nobody really wins,it's just a mess..and movies like this try to show us at least a glimpse of what really happens in the warzone.

  • Band of Brothers series is much better.

  • There is far too much pathos and historical inaccuracy in Saving Private Ryan.

  • whoz the actor at 3:05?

  • @AndyWoods16

    Jeremy Davies

  • sorry wikipeadia sides with you to i was mistaken. Omaha was a mess.

  • dam he destroyed a tank with a colt m1911 someones a badass

  • Omaha was bad but I'd hate to see Juno, which my country took. Juno was the most heavily defended area, then I belive Omaha.

  • @hellomotto37 Juno would have been the second most heavily defended beach after Omaha! However the Canadians did have to contend with a seawall twice the size of the one at Omaha. If you couple that with some very strong defensive positions then Juno was still a really tough objective to take. More men were lost at Omaha but casualties on Juno were still quite high I think!

  • As a "baby boomer" a veteran and a son of a hero who fought in the Battle of the Bulge I don't understand your comment....Mr. LOL... could you elaborate? Dumb Ass...no response necessary.

  • My dad was on Omaha Beach, Easy red 2 sector and was riddled with shrapnel and never made it off the beach until they evacced him to Cirencester UK. Most of the kids with him died. He was 19. His beach was easy red 2, omaha.. Hes gone to Normandy and just cried and cried. Hes 85 years old and was only recently able to take returning there

  • @algerianhistory Wow!! Your father must have seen hell on Omaha beach. My grandmother had two uncles who were also at Omaha beach and after all was said and done they never spoke a word about the battle to anyone again. And who could blame them, something like war seen through their eyes could never be interpreted to anyone who has never seen war. It is men like your father and so many others who served in our military that keep this country safe from evil, and I'd like to say Thank you!

  • @AshuraShadow8 his experience shaped my life and my understanding of world war 2. I am 44, he is 85 so i got to grow up with a completely different perspective of life and love and loss because of what he saw at normandy

  • Realistic battle scenes can't save this typical spielberg manipulation.

  • @IStillBlaze AGREE

  • It is moving

  • My father still is living and he was on easy red 2 on Omaha Beach in the second landing invasion. He is 85. He won the french cross. He is the last of the survivors

  • @algerianhistory Think about what you just said. Omaha beach was an American beach landing zone for Operation Overlord. Explain to me how he got the french cross. There were no french soldiers in the entire invasion of normandy. There were American, Canadian, and British soldiers. America had Utah and Omaha, while Britian had Juno and Gold, and Canada had Sword.

  • @xZxshadowghostxZ ez red two. He was an American Navy medic attached to the US Army. He is AMERICAN. If you watch the news, the French government has been awarding Normandy soldiers something called the chevailier because most of the men are dead now. They are doing it post humously. My dad is still living and is leaving for France on June 3rd. I am 44. He is 85. What exactly are you questioning. He was on teh easy red 2 beach and I have actually been there

    My father was on

  • @xZxshadowghostxZ

My father is 85 years old. He was a navy medic attached to the US Army. What exactly are you questioning. He was not french .. The French Government has been awarding Normandy Soldiers the chevalier for the last few years...I am 44 . My dad is the veteran. I have actually been to easy red two the beach he landed on and stood there.. Omaha is divided into sectors.. Easy red was one of them

  • @xZxshadowghostxZ What are you questioning exactly? My dad was awarded the chevalier by the French Embassy in Miami last year for his service in Normandy. He is 85 years old. He landed on Omaha, easy red 2 and he is still alive and will leave for France next week.

  • Every time I watch this movie I look at my grandfathers Bronze Star and Pacific Campaign medal and wonder if he witnessed things like this. He would never speak of the war to any of his grand kids. Looking back as an adult I think it would have been unbearable for him to explain what Hell is like to a child.

  • There are many war movies but none has ever affected me so much as this one & the cast were splendid. The last scene ends with Gen. George Marshall reading that Abraham Lincoln letter & with Ryan fast forwarding to the present time at the burial site of the soldier who made it possible for him to come home safely to his mother who already had lost 4 other sons to that horiffic war. Thank u for posting this video & it's a movie I own & one of my trophies in that collection, 1001 **** 's for you!!

  • whats this rated

  • @voodblack8 R. was that a rhetorical question?

  • this end is so damn unrealistic shit :P germans would't send a tiger alone to the bridge without securing it with infantry first :P

  • @Tahtiraketti It's a movie, realism is boring.

  • @rdpeach Yeah maybe you got a point there. It just pisses me off when people think that this is reality.

  • that fuckin german asshole killed the man who saved his life !!! Some people are just so evil !! >:(

  • It looks like the guy with the B.A.R. was one of the few survivors, besides Ryan and Upham. I guess carrying that gun around makes ya last longer than an M1.......

  • I just want to give a thank you to all the military personal. You all go through so much for me and I am grateful beyond words.

  • I just want to give a thank you to all the military personal. You all go through so much for me and I am grateful beyong words.

  • 5:15 probably the most useful thing upham did in the whole movie

  • that mother fucker crouching with full machine gun ammo and a rifle when he coulda takin out 7 Nazi's lined up with one bullet made me SCREAM AT THE FUCKIN MONITOR SHOOT U FUCK GOD DAMN PUSSY FUCKKKKKKKKKKK

  • A soldier died in the field of battle and came up to the gates of heaven, where he met God. He said to God," Lord, I know I did many things i ain't proud of, and many more that you won't approve of, so if you send me to hell, I won't argue." God stood there for a moment, and then turned to the gatekeeper of heaven. "Let him in", he said.? The gatekeeper, confused, asked why. God looked down at the soldier and said," This man just came from hell."

  • @TrueSpartan229 that there is a beast paragraph

  • @TrueSpartan229 ive never heard that b4 that is one of the best quotes ever

  • @TrueSpartan229 Nice!!

  • @TrueSpartan229 Reading this just made my eyes swell in tears.

  • At 5:30, is this a camera mistake? like a lens flare or something like that?

  • pew plink.

    pew plink.

    pew plink.

    pew plink.

    pew BOOM.

  • at 5:06 is that the guy that said "i like americans"

  • @jayjay042298456 Yeah.

  • @Darkstarnigga it is. i think :)

  • COD 5 copyed this film. The only difference is instead of Germans they're japanese

  • AT 2:59 SUPER COLLATERAL

  • now I hate Ryan the coolest guys died because of him :/ what a fag I just watched the movie it's a masterpiece but I still hate it nearly everyone died >:(

  • @0900090990 that's the point idiot, the reason that all the other soilders died was to save him, because the people in charge wanted to help the mother who was also suffering from war.

  • Comment removed

  • @kickflipinyaface nice piece of propaganda, that!

  • @d3ejmz what are you talking about?

  • @kickflipinyaface "The people in charge wanted to help"

    LOL!!!!!!!

No, son, it's like this... Daddy Bush gets rich on oil he sells to the Nazis who are killing your children in a war the US was bullied into through a false-flag attack.

  • @d3ejmz No, i wasn't talking about real life "son". I was talking to this guy who said something dumb about the movie like," i love this movie but i hate ryan because he made tom hanks and all the other squad mates die!" You can tell he didn't pay attention to the movie and was only looking forward to the parts where everyone blows up. So please, look at the conversation a bit more carefully before implying that i'm some redneck who thinks that the USA shouldn't be questioned in the slightest!

  • @kickflipinyaface well i didn't say it was YOUR propaganda. Did you make the film? Ease up dude. the 'son' was a joke. thought anyone could see that. My bad!

  • y do the good people have 2 die in the end :(

  • @gdgarza I'd of liked to see the last 30 minutes or so changed with fewer of our guys dying, of course, and with Upham taking out all those Krauts rather than just "Steamboat WIllie" ...Of course they shoulda killed him in an earlier scene. I think in reality he'd a been a dead Nazi then and there...

  • no respawn for miller?

  • How in hell did this Generation of Heroes produce the baby boomers?! (LOL).

  • @mowriter I agree in many ways. Though what SOME of them did to bring desegregation was as gutsy as going to war, especially in areas where even white men could be lynched if they shook up the ethnic status quo. Other than that though, they did do many cowardly and self-destructive things

  • @mowriter you mean how the hell did this generation of heroes produce kids who jumped on grenades in Iraq and Afghanistan?

  • @fosterkid117 : You mean GRANDKIDS who jumped on grenades. A few of their kids did the same in Vietnam, but many seemed to instead to burn American flags, get high, completely abandon their parents paradigm, and generally behaved like spoiled brats.

  • This makes me want to play R.U.S.E even though it wouldn't be THIS dramatic, damnit.

  • @Gir252

Try Company of Heroes, far superior.

  • panzer fo lyfe!

  • this is so fake

  • Thank you to all the soldiers who refused to fight. On both sides. Maybe someday, we, as a great world, will realize that killing and dying for the rich and powerful is just idiotic, as this movie points out so clearly.

  • WWII soldiers are way more "heroes" than todays soldiers, if that even makes sense lol

  • @VanishingDigital yes, WWII soldiers actually had something worth fighting for, soldiers today are fighting to try and sort out some middle eastern country that no one really knows the reason why we're there

  • @blaze2010x woooo for not idiots.

  • @blaze2010x

    nevermind lol

  • @blaze2010x

We are there because the enemy are ruthless cunning assholes who force their mis interpretation of the koran

with weapons. Somebody needs too take them out and thats why we are there...

  • @cornholio119 which middle eastern conflict are you referring to?

  • @VanishingDigital I agree

  • I would say hands down this is best war movie ever made.....

  • this and braveheart are the best war movies.

  • tom hanks is my favorite charakter in this great movie :D

  • What a film, groundbreaking in the war film genre. There had been some good films out there for there time in the past, such as the big red one, but this film was and still is at the very top for realism, emotion and battle scenes (along with the pacific, band of brothers and the thin red line).

  • 2:14 is he crying his eyes out

  • Steamboat Willie made 5 accounts to dislike this video.

  • The kind of movie that affected every nerve in my body andevery eomtion in my soul...watching this, no matter how often, just hits hard, as it should hit everyone who lives free in our country, regardless of its faults. Despite some of the factual critiques I've read about some of the things in this movie, I think it was great period. God bless all who were a part of making this fine movie and God bless all those who really went through this for us!

  • Greatest war movie of all time. Top 5 movies period.

  • at 4:20 he was like "WTF"!?

  • do they keep fuel inside their tanks?

  • I like that tuff guy when tom hanks asks him Mike are you alrite? and he replies I just go the wind knocked out of me

  • THUMBS up if you got the "chills" at 4:33

  • @Riddlerx333x umm knowone got chills

  • @LoservilleTV he got the kill he was a moder and killed the tank whith a pistol. LOL

  • this is the greatest movie ever made

  • did matt damon end up dying??

  • @lachybmx99 no he was the old man in the beginning and the ending of the movie with his family like 40 years later... something like that, it was tom hawks who died, and that is why the old man (Matt Damon) went the tom hanks grave shit to say he was hoping he earned tom hanks sacrifice on the bridge where tom died

  • @lachybmx99 Private Ryan, Reilly and Upham were the only ones who survived

  • Comment removed

  • Commercial for M1911A1. In the right hands, it can destroy just about anything*.

    *(In tiny letters)Except for tanks.

  • did u know that this first part of the scene was a map in medal of honor allied assault

  • @BloodofNaziZombie Did you most of this map was in the second level of medal of honor frontline.

  • for a second ther i thought he got a luck shot and one of his rounds punched through to where they store the ammunition...

  • @mrwxyz101 Nope, The planes dropped 4000 pounds of one Chuck Norris on the tank.

  • @keetonman that is highly possible

  • thanks america for saving our ass in world war 2, from everyone here in Europe(apart from surrender monkeys France and obviously Germany) xx

  • @ststephens97 Y'all still would've won without us.

    But, thanks anyway :)

  • @ststephens97 And also thank them for being ignorant minded and CONSTANTLY rubbing it in.

  • @ststephens97

Yes, thanks for joining a few months from the end and stealing the credit after this amazing island held off the german warmachine.

    Dumbass.

  • @ststephens97 You stupid fuck.

  • Those mausers rock and roll.
