The video stays...please see comments below. I really mean no personal offence to Peter the private person. His public image on the other hand is open territory just like it is with people like Britney or Paris. The clip came from a much longer video on a local (Toronto) Sci-Fi/Horror/Anime convention. Levar Burton, George Romero, Michael Dorn, George Takai and others. This clip was posted here to ride the "my ____ sounds like Chewbacca" wave. I didn't see much of a line up of fans while he inhaled that sandwich. They probably didn't want to get that close so I guess he really wasn't maximizing anytime. He should have brought a copy of Harrowsmith to read or something too.
He SHOULD have been able to eat his food in peace without being turned into a comedy spectacle. Perhaps YOU should not eat in public. Do you really listen to yourself? I posted it almost a year ago just to see what kind of traffic it would get and it's taken this long for you to all care. Yet absolute meaningless crap gets 1 million hits. I would have thought new Chewbacca content would have commanded some more attention than the regurgitated tricks people use generate traffic.

Would expect any other response from me? I'm sure they fans would prefer not to get covered in mustard when they shake their hero's hand. If he couldn't plan to eat before or after his time at the table then he's not considering his fans, only himself. There was no line up while he ate and a curtain he could have stood behind for 2 minutes to protect his integrity without putting his non professional needs on display. I didn't see George Takai eating soup or kissing his boyfriend when greeting his fans.

The clip came from a much longer video on a local (Toronto) Sci-Fi/Horror/Anime convention. Levar Burton, George Romero, Michael Dorn, George Takai and others. This clip was posted here to ride the "my ____ sounds like Chewbacca" wave. I didn't see much of a line up of fans while he inhaled that sandwich. They probably didn't want to get that close so I guess he really wasn't maximizing anytime. He should have brought a copy of Harrowsmith to read or something too.

He lives in Texas with his wife and stepdaughters. Ie eats at his table to maximize the number fans that can meet and greet. I am sure the video was made in good fun with no malicious intent, but this guy is a man too.
