  • Thanks for speaking up for Iranians.

  • ummmm

  • SOOOOOO true

  • One word: WTF!

  • ????????????????????

  • In this day and age, if you're getting your news from these sources anyway, you're already on the short end of te stick. Celebrity deaths to most of net culture just make such media prostitutes readily spottable.

  • i dont get it

  • mjs red glove lol!

  • Hum? Am I blind or it is full of subliminars

messages that I can't get yet?

  • I dont get this video ):

  • Oh really!!!???

  • ok yea i dont get why you made this video

  • islamic countries do not fight for the sake of fighting its more a self preservation fighting plus religiously to protect the religion is what most religious leader promote east and west it works both ways but i think many countries would be like them if the rest of the world seemed to be conspiring with thier enemy. like uk and america wiping isreals ass every 5 minutes protecting it from iran and lebanon why western countries need to stick thier big huge conks into other countries affairs

  • The fate of the nation is created by themselves and their beliefs.... why are islamic countries so angry and sooo prepared to fight and kill? Michael Jackson spend most of his life trying to help people, trying to convey messages of peace... If the world ends in a great ball of flames, we only have ourselves to blame!

  • i think this video has somthing to it. it was around the same time as the iran protests and it did sort of help to disguise all the media attention iran was getting. if ppl remember ahmadinajad did send meesages to world leaders about the coverage and him not tolerating it the whole political system is fucked up i think but if MJ did fake his death then ppl SHOULD LET HIM BE he must have his reasons and he gave so much to the music world at least he got his wish to live forever now cuz he will

  • Well I don't mean to be rude, but the title, as someone else pointed out, is rather misleading. I think it's rather funny that the point of the vid seems to be to complain about the media, and then you use a media trick yourself.

And, also, it's just my opinion, but I think all the coverage of him was valid. He wasn't just some pop star, he changed music in a lot of way, most notably breaking the race barriars. And he was a humanitarian. He deserves all the coverage, i think.

  • o yes, because a famous humanitarian dies everything in the US needs to get shut down media wise. he did not need 4 days of 24/7 coverage when a revolution was going on across the globe in a country were supposed to be afraid of according to our own government. yes good call trav, good call.

  • Hey stupid! (i don't mean to call you that way but it was your nick choice :S i wont discuss you on that) i believe that in fact he needed even more press!! that way ppl like you or like the guy that made the video, might realise that a person who donate hundred of millons for different causes has dead... but i guess you will find more interesting the sport seccion on a newspaper.. and thats why i dont get surprized when i read comments like this

..let it be.. let it beeee..

  • i get the point of this video. it's actually pretty true...but why even waste time making this vid if you're sick of the coverage? you're just adding to it.

  • fuck iran

  • Oh my GOD, why did MJ died during Charlie Angle also died at the same time than all the problem in Iran have not being cover up and settle down yet. Than Obama was to Russia & Africa. Media like chicken run confusing about MJ funiral and all the shits report. Haha.. I never read tabloid just worried about swain flue which I almost quarantine. huh..

  • well, when the subject is death and pain I think it is not measure possible. One or a thousand, the understanding is out of our capability. Besides this, in real life, we only can feel our own pain. If a brother or sister of someone dies this person feels much more pain than for a nation. Well, for many people, sometimes, an artist is so near as a relative. Or even more.

  • This kind of video is shit. if the death of MJ is not important subject why did you are using it? this kind of video is made to cheat people. That is not fine.

  • Surely you must agree that the fate of a nation of people is more important than the death of any individual....right??

  • yea, but I think it's not fair the use of a title just to cause mistake and gather attention. That is the exactly way that media works. Please, I hope you don't see me as a bad person, cause I'm not. If I offended you I apologise cause it wasn't my intention. I believe in expression's freedom for every and all people, since in the right context, and in that sense, all matters have the same relevance.

I wrote a new comment I would like you read it. Thanks so much.

  • Every death is painfull and hurt. Don`t compare.

When I will die, I don`t want to be compare with the other people who dies more painfull.Don`t you?

Media speaks a lot of Jackson`s death because he was an music icon of our times, It`s normal.

People on the world dies all the time. Not only in Iran. And nobody talks about it. Another thing is that media lies, so I dont trust in anything what they say. They are saying only about "correct" things and things which giving them a money. So I dont care.

  • Its very sad that this is the minds of the United States public now. We care more about a freak singer than real world events that really matter. Im afraid we are finished.

  • We have no control or influence with our privately owned and managed media. It is merely a propaganda/opinion-shaping device. See my vids on MJ,s death.

  • OMFG !! a SANE American !! ;-)

  • Okay, fair enough to point out that other important things are happening in the world, but Michael Jacksons' death is important, too, for many reasons. I don't like your video, because I feel it trivializes his death. I'm sure you would not like it if someone made a video triviilizing something you thought was important.

  • michael jacksons death was VERY important. he was an icon, like a brother to some people. the people of the world arent paying much attention to iran because this stuff between iran and its government has gone on too long. we DO care about irans problems. but michaels fans care about him more! see, im 13 i care about the people in iran but i can do nothing about it. but i can mourn over mjs death. so the media can talk all it wants about mjs death because he was IMPORTANT! and he always will be

  • Funniest one yet!!

  • hahahaha... great!

  • Did they stop the vandals in Iran yet? Is that it?

  • Good one

  • All I wanna say is that

They don't really care about us.

    Thanks for the video!

  • Thank God somebody had the guts to say it.

  • LOL great job Lee, I was beginning to think you were going to joke about MJ coming back to life as the zombie from his Thriller video after faking his death, & then it would've been like: No, nope, he's still dead...

But I'm glad you brought the more IMPORTANT issues to the Youtube limelight. Keep up the good work!

  • Well done.

  • bet the iranians where like: "SHIT!,its over guys"

  • RIP Neda and RIP MJ,,, see MJ'a song " They don't really care about us", as theme for the Iranian Protest

  • Good call!

  • That one picture looks like MJ's buried inside a giant iPhone.

  • Well said

  • Superb!

I especially liked the part at the end, how if you even try to point out there are other more pressing matters going on in the world it is assumed you must hate MJ.

I've had this happen to me repeatedly.

  • When I heard about MJ's death, my heart sank. Not because of MJ - he was cool and all but - I just had a feeling the media would suddenly forget Iran... and they did. At least let's all remember Global Day for Action on July 25!

  • yup...that's exacetly what i was thinking since day one of mj's death. i love his music but at the same time, there's people dying bloody deaths. yet we believe the death of a man who sings and dances amazingly deserves more sympathy and attenion than the hundreds dying in iran.

  • michael was more than an entertainer. he was a humanitarian that spoke peace through his lyrics

  • you are amazing.

  • good point we care more about 1 good MUSCIAN dying more than we do hundreds of peope in each day in iran

  • i totally agree.

  • very good point, well made.

  • Fantastic, Lee.
