Dumbledore being gay killed the book for me. IF your a REAL fan of HP like me you probably thought thigns like, wow Dumbledore is a really mysterious guy. He says all these weird things randomly. He seems to always know what he is doing. Then she goes out and says he's gay.......IT KILLED THE BOOK. Now no one thinks all those things about Dumbledore. He's QUEER that's why he acted like that....WDF

Wow, geraldo really bugged me! I saw the vid when he said "Deadly" Hallows and now he said grindenwald. wtf mate? I agree w/you blurry69 about the added reassurance! I personally don't care if she characterized Dumbledore as gay. I just never really thought of Dumbledore as having any type of romantic links in the first place...for some strange reason...must be the pedestal complex

...xD Was it shocking? No. I personally thought deathly hallows screamed grindeldore. i think it's probably the most tragic bit of harry potter- including harry himself. Having to fight against the person you love, being personally responsible for his downfall... can you imagine the emotional ditress Dumbledore went through? Makes me want to climb into the pages and hug him.

"not that there's anything wrong with that" I'm pretty sure was referencing to a Seinfeld episode where they would constantly say that "We're not gay!! ....not that there's anything wrong with that." Or maybe I'm wrong and I just watch too much seinfeld.
