  • HAMMER gespielt bestes cover im youtube.Ach wie haste das denn aufgenommen?

Mit Kamera oder über PC? Ich finde die quali fast CD verdächtig.

  • this is a beautiful rendition -- thanks for sharing this.

  • ..I Can Watch this Video....a thousand of times....

  • ..and she is trying to drive me crazy too...!!

  • I'm actually selling an Eminent Unique 300 ( without Ensamble controls ) at a very cheap price.. I've got 2 and my wife is getting crazy..!

  • woah !!!!! sooooo coool ! B R A V O

  • 10

  • sounds great;] are tou going to play some Kraftwerk ?

  • Amazing likeness and technique to the original Oxygene. Very cool! Definitely goes beyond most of the canned digital synths of pre-determined wave forms.

  • There are no words to describe how cool this is. An instrumentt can´t sound more "Jarre" then this...

Saw an Eminent 310 on Ebay for 950 bucks..I want this thing...

  • Marvellous

  • You messed it up at 1:42 but I don't care really. The sound is amazing :)

  • The Small Stone Phaser makes all the difference. I'm on to 1 :)

    Nice playing btw.

  • how good is that?

  • Thanks for this cover - good work! And thanks for your explanation about necessary instruments.

  • Cool! All you're missing is the glissandos.

  • Amazing Sound!

  • The sound of the Eminent is absolutely great, even today it is as space age as it was in the 70s

  • thats is top classic old vintage used in modern age ..simply fantastic many thanx

  • this is my favourite out of all your video's it sounds amazing! thankyou

  • Some people are still allowed to perform music on white socks ;-)

    Anyway, great vid.!!!

  • Outstanding... ;-)

  • wow, like the original, fantastic work, dude!

    :)

  • Very very nice :) Instantly recognizable sound, very true to the original. Nice work!

  • That bassline at the start of the vid...Was that built in to the korg mini pops?

  • @rojman123 no, the bassline was from a Korg MS-10. The Minipops signal was running through the MS-10 filter and overdrived it, at the same time I played the oscillator signal on he keyboard. It was just for fun...

  • @AnalogAudio1 Thanks man! I've discoverd Jarre uses a lot of presets and I was hoping the bassline wasnt something that was buit in to the minipops.

  • You pointed out that it's important to use the original SMALL STONE phaser from the 70's. But what is the difference between the old and the new version of it? As far as I know they are both analog phasers. Probably the newer version is not so noisy. But what else is different?

  • @sauermusicDE It's not noisy at all. It simply sounds different - at least to my ears. It also have different electronic components.

I can distinguish them in a blind test. But both sound great, I have both.

  • @AnalogAudio1 But the original JMJ Phaser was a small stone with two extra pots, modified by Michel Geiss.

  • Very nice, but too big for my house (-:

  • good job!

  • très bien

    félicitations

  • Amazing!

  • @mikahti Schon was von achtspurigen Tonbandgeräten gehört? Das gab es auch in den 70-ern. :) Analog audio spielt alles echt, ist kein Fake. Beobachte als "Kenner" einfach seine Hände. Grüße :)

  • genial mann... EMINENT 310... mein neid ist dir sicher ;-)

    danke für's video, sehr cremig!

  • Haha are those actual Taurus pedals? Respect.

  • @RallyCat909 no, those are the pedals from the Eminent 310 itself :)

  • I love this!

  • spot on - fantastic!

  • Respect 0_i_0 .

  • Excelente , Felitaciones (*****)

  • Awsome!

  • Bravooo, very nice

    Very fantastic sound Thanx

  • fantastic, spot on.

  • and the rest of the interpretation?

  • the Sound is fanthastic!

  • Jarre should've taken you on tour with him!!

  • If he would ask me, I would agree :-)

  • Awesome!!

  • Wow! Very good sir!

  • Very cool! the sound is spot on! Wonderful playing as well!

  • This is excellent, you have a very good ear.

  • Something about this sound triggers deep emotions....funny tning is that only vintage synths do this to me....

  • For me, it's also these chords, from 1:00 to 2:00 simply genius (and very well played here). I would call it melancholy. I used to listen to this in the Metro in Paris, France when I was young, on my small sony cassette player with big earphones.

  • I´m agree with you . Those chords sounds colossal.

  • Degouwe: Since this isn't a vintage synth, but an organ, people might get confused by your post. Perhaps you meant that vintage organs also trigger deep emotions, or that this video not being of vintage synths doesn't trigger deep emotions.

  • fantastic. sounds perfect.

  • Great instrument. Great performance. Jarre rules.

  • :) amazing!

  • This is reeeeeally amazing!!!!! the best cover of oxygene 1!!!!! Do you have a midi file of this???

  • Very nice sound!

  • you can play... great!

  • WOW...no comment...lucky guy

  • This is very nice!

  • This is absolutely brilliant man! I own an Eminent 2000 Grand Theatre, but this 310 is definately better.

  • Awsome!!

    Best Oxygene 1 cover!!

    The sound is very JMJ!!!

I think the Eminent is great organ!!!

    Is it mono?

You could record it without FXs to compare with this one, would be great listen that!!

    Tks a lot for share!!

    Gabriel Lehto

  • With the "Orbitone" speaker system it's some kind of stereo, but in the studio you will use it as mono...

  • kolejny chłopiec, który chwali się ty , że ma eminenta u310 w domu...

  • OMG!!! someone doing Jean Michel covers!! WOW, I NEVER would have thought to look for that on here! been YEARS since I listened to my old Jarre!! =) Good work man! VERY very cool =) Check out my own vids, if you wanna see/hear some baaaaad music! Just bring your ear plugs.. you'll need 'em! : )~

  • G.R.E.A.T !!! FANTASTIC ...

  • Impresionante Demo (*****) Felicitaciones.

  • Wonderful song with a great performance. It would be nice to watch more Oxygene 1 covers as they are pretty rare to be found.

  • so look at mine :-)

  • Yes, the Solina / ARP string ensemble sounds different. The Solina has a more "static" sound, it lacks vibrato and the "sustain" sound. Also it has a different timbre. But despite of this the Solina is one of the best string machines.

  • great demo

  • cool!

  • very nice !

  • thanks!

  • I can only say WOW. I had no idea... Great demo...

  • thanks!

  • The phaser is extremely important for Jarres first two albums. These really warm phasing string sounds (And on other sounds too) of the 70;s.... are great!

  • yes, the Electro-Harmonix Small Stone is important for Jarre's Sound - as well as the Electro-Harmonix Electric Mistress.

  • like it eminent 310 rules

  • My YaMaHA CS70M has CHoRuS EnSeMbLE that sound the same when I put it through SMaLLsToNE...

  • The Eminent 310 is just the most beautiful sounding synth ever. And that string ensemble never fails to send shivers down my spine.

  • Very nice!

    I wish I had a 310 unique, but a P275 will do for now...;)

    /kroffe a k a Le Singe Monotone

  • When I was living till 8 years ago at my parents home, I sold this organ for 150 euro's............. dumbhead as I was :( It is a magnificent instrument... I have now a digital churchorgan, but the sound of analog organs, is much warmer........ and nicer....

  • Wow. I always used to assume everything came out of the ARP 2600, I didn't realise the Eminent was so fundamental. I found myself vocalising the "doodly-doodly" bits.

  • few years ago, I thought it was an ARP2600 too! :-) now, everybody knows, it was an Eminent 310 - thanks to internet...

  • brilliant. I had the chance of getting a 310, but my studio is upstairs and I was worried the floor would of collapsed. I wish I'd of got one now. That must be instant satisfaction to play that and have it sound so damn close to the original !

  • thanks... yeah, playing the Eminent is fun ;-)

  • Try a portable ELKA organ. The models X-606, X-707, X-25, and X-30 all had good spacious strings that comes close to the EMINENT if you do a little filtering or equalizing and add echo and phasing.

  • thanks, but I don't have enough space for a second organ... I think, one organ is enough in my small studio ;-)

  • thankfully I managed to get some Eminent 310 string samples and program for my Akai S6000 sampler. I've also got a smallstone phaser, so get an identical sound. But its certainly not as good as having the original bit of kit.

  • Bravo! Very cool sounds, and your playing is very good. Now I must track down one of those Eminents .. I love that sound. You are using the SmallStone phaser and an echo ? Tape Echo? Very cool

  • thank you... yes, it's a SOUNDCRAFT S-1024 digital delay... it is a quite good delay, although there are better ones....

  • Very good. I'm also a lucky Eminent 310U owner. It is a real nice organ with good sounds overall.

  • Amazingly good!

  • Bravo! It's very close to the original without analog delay... Is the small stone placed before or after the delay?

  • Thanks.... Eminent -> Phaser -> Mixer with EQ & delay....

  • It sounds incredible amazing fantastic..

  • Yeah, the quality definitely shows with the Lexicon doesn't it! Sounds very "compatible" with the Small Stone, for good spaced out sound.

  • Nice work mate, what are you using for the reverb and delay?

  • thank you... reverb: Lexicon MPX500, delay: Soundcraft S-1024 digital delay

  • This organ and its sounds are amazing!

  • Great sounding eminent 310U and performance.

    Thanks, 5*!

  • Excellent, best rendition I've see so far. I'm getting myself a small stone very soon! The 'Equinoxe Deluxe' ensemble in Reaktor 5 and GForce String Machine will have to do me for the Eminent strings through

  • thank you for the comment. But I don't think that the GForce String Machine can emulate the Eminent sound authentically.

  • If you have Reaktor try my Eminent 310 strings emulation located in the Reaktor use's library :-)

  • Sorry, it should have been "user's library"
