"The spiritual aspect of the question is this: The whole universe, known and unknown, has come out of a point in the microcosm which may be called the Creation Point. Simultaneously with this emanation, two processes come into play -- the evolution and the production. The differences between the two processes are rather significant, and must be clearly understood. The process of production is dependent on the process of evolution in sequence of causation, but not in sequence of time." Meher Baba
What a crank! and of course he knows he is and is simply propogating this rubbish for self grandizement. The old 'intermediate' fossils crap has been explained so that even the most superstitious open minded person could not refute it.
@periwest You are the "crank" There is already an emerging theory - out of England-that so called evolution is not caused by "natural selection" but as a result of 'favorable habitat' ..and that the species do not compete ,but, rather, cooperate! The superstition is Darwinian evolution
@JamesJTraitz Typical creationist reponse. i.e. no response to the points posed but a quick slight of hand and a new topic opened up. Sophistry and Ontology are the constant retreat rather than simply answering the point.
I repeat: the intermediate fossil issue has been proven beyond reasonable doubt - you only need to be able to spell google to discover that truth.
Consciousness transends both time & space. Therefore,it is only subjected to its laws due to its association with the body/mind. It is not an object. it is pure subjectivity. I say this not from the perpective of philosophy,or theory, but from experience. from existence itself.
That idea of chapters, books and creation is a stretch and is not as plausible as the more obvious idea the new came from the old.
In fact, the analogy just does not sound applicable.
