@pat377 There is a bar over most of prob. That is considered a grouping symbol. The problem is worked out in detail in video and notes. What you SHOULD have typed in is: 7-(6+(5-4(1-(2+3)))).
Question 13 on the Quiz notes says A B C E F
When it should say A B C D E and if you say it's E which is you get the answer wrong because on the answers and on the video it says the answer is D

(6-2)(8+1} shouldn't you perform ''foiling'' on this one? or is foil used only for (x-3)(x-7), where there's x involved??

Well... you *COULD* FOIL it if you wanted to, but that is just WAY more work than needed. Save the FOILing for expressions with variables (like x).
