  • Question 13 on the Quiz notes says A B C E F

When it should say A B C D E and if you say it's E which is you get the answer wrong because on the answers and on the video it says the answer is D

  • @MitsuomiTakayanagiEC It is a typo (obviously). It is correct in the answers and in video. Sorry about that. Thanks for pointing it out.

  • @videomathtutor yea I knew it was a typo I was just letting you know and also people who read my comment will know save them from getting an answer wrong on the quiz every right answer counts =)

  • you r just superb

  • @sowmyashan Thanks! Now if only I were rich...

  • sorry videomathtutor, my bad.

  • @pat377 It is OK. I welcome all Q's, and encourage all to let me know if you think I made a mistake (so I can correct it!).

  • yeah, but in your video you work it out to be -20?

  • @pat377 There is a bar over most of prob. That is considered a grouping symbol. The problem is worked out in detail in video and notes. What you SHOULD have typed in is: 7-(6+(5-4(1-(2+3)))).

  • hey man great video, but when i type 7-6+(5-4(1-(2+3))) in to my calculator i get 22, am i doing this wrong, please help :-(

  • @pat377 I get 22 on my calculator too.

  • Wow Man Your Amazing!!!!

  • Your Great!!! I am studying for my COMPASS test and it has been awhile well, a long while since I have been in School....Thank you for doing this : )

I just wished I would have found you earlier...now I have this weekend to try to do all your lessons : (

    Test on Monday...

  • how do you solve for: (negative exponents)?

    12^-12

    5^-2

    2^-3

  • I will lecture on that in another lesson (not made yet).

  • Mann ur a great teacher.d

  • (6-2)(8+1} shouldn't you perform ''foiling'' on this one? or is foil used only for (x-3)(x-7), where there's x involved??

  • Well... you *COULD* FOIL it if you wanted to, but that is just WAY more work than needed. Save the FOILing for expressions with variables (like x).
