  • The Nazgûl they were; the Ringwraiths, the Enemy's most terrible servants; darkness went with them and they cried with the voices of death.

for that reason, it is a good day to kill, I will fight with the hosts of Mordor!

  • lotr and the summoning... hardly any dislikes... speaks for itself.. but the odd few dislikes they must've been moving to the music feeling epic and accidently slipped on the dislike button.. or they mistook it for the dis-i-like button XD

  • This is what the orcs hear back at Mordor and Isengard!

  • Fire and Ice, the Nazgûl fly

It is a good day to kill!

    Red is Earth and sky

    Even Manwe will bow down

    When last the day arrives,

    Where Morgoths Hammer smashes down

On the age of elves and day of man

At the return of darkness and evil

  • A Good Day To Kill Dark have been my dreams of late Of secret doubt and secret fear A thousand years have passed away To lay down doom and terror To north ride on, a thousand orcs On wolves with giant bloody fangs They take the storm and power Of Mordor through the world They hold up high my ragged bannners Still victory is not at hand I shall fail no longer Middleearth - My land!
  • EPIC

  • i will always love this song

  • this is epic...

  • Dark have been my dreams of late Of secret doubt and secret fear A thousand years have passed away To lay down doom and terror To north ride on, a thousand orcs On wolves with giant bloody fangs They take the storm and power Of Mordor through the world Fire and Ice, the Nazgûl fly It is a good day to kill! • 15 lidí nechápe :)

  • "They take the storm and power

    Of Mordor through the world!"

  • @Frion92 - Haha yes! The wooden frame looks like the Summoning pentagram!

  • Fatum sequitur triumphus.

  • the THIRD most wanted song to be played at my funeral

  • This would have been hilarious if it'd been in the LotR movies.

Wheter it'd been good or not, I can't say, bug funny? Hell yes.

  • I love Summoning, but I can't help but think of the music on Zero Hour when you play as the USA when I hear this XD

  • I love how cheery the tuba like at 1:50 and on is sounding. with the artificial sound of this stuff they never reach any true darkness or evil, its all too pink, but ok tune anyways

  • Mirdautas vrasubatlat!

  • WAAAAAAAAAAGHHHHH!!

  • slay all justin bieber fans!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @tulkas3009 the Iron Crowned is getting colser, swings hi hammer down on him, like a tunderstorm he's crushing down on Justin Bieber as he sings!

  • great cooperation of screens and sound. epic

  • I'm.. I don't... What.

  • brogb-izg summoning!

  • You made a great video for this song.

  • EPIC!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Absolutely terrific! Love it!

  • I'm ashamed to say that it took me this long to find Summoning...but I am glad I did. They are outstanding!

  • @CrimsonUltrafox you're not the only one..I didn't even searched for it...I just clicked on a status and there was it - ashen cold :)

  • there have been TONS of dark metal bands I hold dear to my dark heart, but this one is at the top of my list!!! SUMMONING FOREVER

  • "Come not between the Nazgul and his prey! Or he will not slay thee in thy turn. He will bear thee away to the houses of lamentation, beyond all darkness, where thy flesh shall be devoured, and thy shriveled mind be left naked to the Lidless Eye."

  • This song is simply awsome. Even better than South Away

  • NAZGULS!!!!

  • 14 people were kidnapped by the Nazgûls!

  • @Hypogripho It's been a week and everyone has agreed to like it since then. No more disappearances. Still, though, best to travel by night. And by all means, make haste to Imladris!

  • @Hypogripho hey nooby...first: stop this 14 people....34 people sick Biebers cock or this shit...it´s not even funny...

second: the plural form of Nazgûl is Nazgûl, not Nazgûls....

  • @CountNefarius666 i don't understand your angry (nooby?, who is bieber?) is just a commentary for fun.

second: as many people here, english is my second lenguage. Nazgul is a word invented by Tolkien under his own rules not a real languages , so is true that nazguls may be not exactly ok but i use nazgul / nazguls like this.

  • @Hypogripho well...you just became my victim because I hate these comments....they are almost as annoying as the "thumbs up if you....."-comments.

  • @CountNefarius666 ok, sorry for that comment but someone had to say it haha bye

  • @CountNefarius666

Your victim? Just what is that supposed to mean?

  • @DemolisherovChrist Who the fuck are you?

  • wao... sumoning... wao!!!! Nazgul spoil!

  • amazing! a great master piece!

  • cool ik ben het jaysonkoremans

sta op nummer 22 in dws de bg

  • I pity the vocal chords of this singer, and anyone who ever needs to communicate in the Black Speech.

  • One of my favourite things about Summoning is the drumming...even though it's processed, Richard can still create some of the best beats and rhythms.

  • @TheAlfadr

i agree with you, i think what i like about it is that is is machine made, it has that inhuman quality that makes it different.

  • EPIC nothing more to say. Summoning!!!!!

  • @amrok2002

Agree, I listening Summoning from 1995, they are the best for me!

  • Nazgul!!!!!

  • gandalf's headbanging!!! l,,l,

    yay 8D!!

  • Also check out the song Morthond. Their most epic song.

  • From thinking about Melkor, it seems that he himself has done everything according to plan... Tolkien writes in the good guys point of view but ignores at times possible thoughts of the dark beings. Melkor now in the void is safe and getting stronger with Arda in his grasp as it has been marred by his 'element' with 'evil and despair coming to those the inhabitants love the most'. Every being in Arda, vala or lesser has experienced grief, despair and/or death. Melkor has therefore won in secret.

  • Comment removed

  • @Dragongod41 hahah fuck yea that is a pretty sick theory.

youre right- Melkor spawned all his hate & malice into middle earth by playing all his solo's & bm records back in the beginning, when all the vala played their orchestral sounds in unison he went against it weaving his discordant tunes, forging all matter of sinister shit creeping in the shadows, so even though he's sealed away now his will remains, Sauron was only a maiar tryin to fill melkors huge boots, there exists more evil unseen

  • Amazing, love it!

  • fucking EPIC SONG! SUMMONING FFS! \M/ GREETINGS FROM FINLAND

  • @pROTPANDA kyllä

  • Summoning forever!!!

  • summoning is the reason i still have faith in humanity

  • 5:36 "Mordor rock´n roll!" lol

  • [Morgoth:] Sit now there, And look out upon the lands Where evil and despair shall come upon those whom thou lovest. Thou hast dared to mock me, and to question the power of Melkor, Master of the fates of Arda. Therefore, with my eyes thou shalt see, And with my ears thou shall hear; And never shalt thou move from this place Until all is fulfilled unto its bitter end... [Orcs:] Lord and Master! Lord and Master! Lord and Master! Lord and Master! Lord and Master! Lord and Master!

  • Best Summoning fan video i've see yet! Good work! And as always, Summoning are beyond epic...

  • They should have had this song in the movie

  • Just EPIC.

  • Aah, black speech. Summoning rules.

  • Is this song sung in Elven? or Hobbit?

  • @rak000 Hobbits generally speak the common tongue (Westron), and this is not

in Elvish, either. It's in the Black Speech of Mordor--the "ash nazg durbatuluk" language.

  • this is awesome as hell! the lyrics gave me goosebumps

  • Great job on the video, n3xZhull. This is definitely one of my favourite songs from Summoning. So much power in the song.

  • This is just so fucking epic and awesome song. I love this one . It's nice to hear Black Speech sang.

  • awesome video!! Summoning would have been an excellent choice for the movie soundtrack music =)

  • tolkien would have been proud hearing this with the video :)

    long live summoning!

  • @farscape1 Actually, Tolkien himself hated the Black Speech. He poured everything he detested into it, to create a language that would be truly fitting of the forces of evil.

  • THIS BAND ROCKS :D

  • Nice work n3xZhull, this vid was awesome along with the song!

  • fantastic video :)

  • I love to play BFME2 and listen to Summoning at the same time.

  • One of my all-time FAVORITE Summoning songs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I just discovered these guys yesterday.........im absolutely speechless

  • this is so amazing

  • great, powerful and mighty! since 1993

  • Great Video, Great Band.

  • Very nice 1:32-1:42

  • GREAT!!!

    I can't say anything more.

  • ein wunderschöner song !!!!

  • Ive been a Summoning fan for over 11 years now. Best Tolkien-related band ever, period.

  • Lets mortal heroes sing "Summoning's" fame

    @LetsGetThisClear

  • Summoning is so Epic.

  • I love this song, I love summoning and I most certainly love Lord Of The Rings, therefore I LOVE THIS VIDEO. I've been enjoying it for a few years now. Good job Mr. n3xzhull

  • Loving it

  • This...is AWESOME.

To be honest, I have a serious orc fetish, so the sound of those vocals sends shivers up my spine...but like, not in a scared or creeped out way, haha! xD

    BLACK SPEECH FTW!

  • 'shiver'

Black Speech makes creeps me out when it's spoken in such an Orcish voice...

  • WTF!?!? This is awesome... Summoning and Lord of the rings... after this video i'll go dying :)

  • A minor nitpick. Sauron did not invent "Orcish". The Black Tongue (both the "high" black tongue and orcish) may have well been in use before Sauron rose to power somewhere in the middle of the Second Age (he was pardoned by Eonwe after the War of Wrath and roamed freely among elves and men as Annatar, the giver of gifts). Orcish may have well been in use in the First Age since there was surely no dearth of orcs in the First Age.

  • @darthzydar Lies. Sauron made the Black Speech to be spoken among his followers. Native "Orcish" is not a language because they are a species of goblinoids made

  • @throqub (sorry i accidentally entered it before i was done) They are a species of goblinoids bred by Morgoth to be his followers. Get your facts straight

  • Sigh, I was quite careful in wording my comment, yet I was misconstrued. I placed emphasis on "orcish" because it is indeed not a language in itself, just the bastardized black speech spoken by orcs (The orcs from Lugburz speak it). An overwhelming number of orcs spoke the Common Tongue so "orcish" is a bit of a misnomer.

Regarding the origins, Sauron does get credit for coming up with it, but Sauron was Morgoth's Chief Lieutenant and had hordes of orcs under his command, even in the First Age.

  • TOLKIEN MADE THE LANGUAGE

  • Fine, let me try more simply:

The fact that the video does not match the lyrics is completely independent of my skill to make movies. That's just how things are.

And so is the fact that it would be much better if it matched. And that there are tons of more suitable scenes in the movies.

That's called "constructive criticism" because there are suggestions in it too. You could make a better vid.

Really, you should be thankful that I can't make movies.

I'm not an English native speaker either.

  • And sorry about the previous comments. I was in a hurry and didn't think them over enough.

  • ok it doesn't matter. Sorry my ofensive comments too.

  • Yes, today I can made better movies, but I am not professional, and I don't make money with vids.

If you thougt you could find good scenes in the trilogy to complete 9 minutes of song and play with them you are wrong.

I considered your first post destructive because you uderestimate the work that i made.

Do you see other fan clips on youtube?

Probably my work isn't the worst.

  • Yours is the ONLY video about the song, actually.

I may give you some ideas for the scenes later perhaps.

  • This video could have been a trillion times better, if only the one who put it together realized what the song said. Looks like all they could recognize was "nazgul", everything else is random orcs doing things.

There are a ton of scenes from the movie that could have made a wonderful video.

  • Really?

    Try it!

  • Try what? If you mean prove, read the lyrics.

Wargs would have been nice in the 2nd stanza, or killing when the song says so instead of everywhere except where it's needed.

And yes, orcs tossing another orc down a tower really give the impression of the doom and terror of Mordor being spread all over the world.

The only instance of video matching the lyrics is the word "Nazgul". That and that alone.

  • If you are thinking you could make something better: teach me. I'm allways ready to learn.

  • Video matching the lyrics. And Windows Movie Maker.

    There.

  • Sorry, probably I'm not clear, or you don't want to understand. I dare you!

  • Comment removed

  • Butthurt kids thumbing comments down don't make the video any better. It just shows you're scared of people seeing things for what they are.

And whow what? I can tell by the marvelous effects that the video was definitely not made with WMM. Right?

  • Oh, and I'm so going to make a video by the request of the first two strangers I met on the internet today.

Hold right there, don't go away!

  • You must make a video to demostrate that yours are better than mine and show us how the orcs obey your orders.

Read the lirycs, extract the images an match. Isn't that easy?

If you cannot do it you shouldn't say nothing, because it can seem you don't know about what you speak.

  • i worked a long time with movie maker.. i first thougt like u but then i analyzed the video a little bit.. and it really can be made with wmm so shut up if u cant be shour what u say!

  • Fine, point taken.

And I've never been shour. Ever.

  • Translation (Narrator is Sauron): Dark have been my dreams of late Of secret doubt and secret fear A thousand years have passed away To lay down doom and terror To north ride on, a thousand orcs On wolves with giant bloody fangs They take the storm and power Of Mordor through the world Fire and Ice, the Nazgûl fly It is a good day to kill! • this is truly a song to rally a dark horde and wipe out the enemy too..

  • Ash nazg durbatuluk,

    Ash nazg gimbatul,

    Ash nazg thrakatuluk,

    Ag burzum ishi krimpatul!

    Middleearth - My land!

  • Woooow this is so amazing!!

They should have used Summonings music at LOTR...

  • Check out-GRAVELAND-

  • Thank you, I'll check out!!

  • @darkwolfie01 the music from summoning does not need images!

    ;)

  • Been my favorite band for years now, i can never get tired of them.

  • Summoning has succeeded in expanding and adding further depth to the world that Tolkien originally created with this song.

  • This is the evilest language, which I ever heard :) Great atmosphere...\m/

  • That's Tolkein for you. He wasn't a philologist for nothing... :)

This is an awesome band for, amongst other things, using the Black Tongue of Mordor in a song

  • I know what is this :) I read all Tolkien´s books, LotR, Hobit, Silmarilion...;)

And this is really awesome band - and I´m like, that their drummer leave them after theirs first album \m/

  • @kainreizel What language is that mate?

  • @Thelordbaphomet

Is the dark mordor language, they sing that too

  • @kainreizel Oh, Ive never heard of that before... Typed in google and found out they are Slovakian, but is it actually slovakian? Looks abit like Negura Bunget's language which is Romanian. Looks fun to learn!

  • @Thelordbaphomet It's the Black Speech of Mordor. It's the language spoken by those underneath Sauron in Lord of the Rings (Orcs, the Nazgûl, Balrogs, etc... )

He copied the lyrics of this song, which are written in that fictional language, you can look up the English translation.

  • @Sharangir I get you now! ^^ hahah Thanks for the info mate, was not aware of that. Cheers

  • @kainreizel you're dead right ... whatever you're saying

  • @kainreizel what language are you speaking? :D it sounds awesome :P

  • @RevealingRS that my friend is the black tounge of mordor

  • @G3an how the hell can i learn that? answer please :D

  • one of the best amv thank great job

  • BLACK SPEECH! it is sauron speaking! can u not feel the evil in the very words?!

  • Think it's supposed to be the Nazgul Captain.

    Either way... fantastic, yes.

  • greatest band for me :)

  • Beeldkwaliteit is echt bagger, maar het geluid is prachtig! Summoning +1 !

  • Ghaash agh akûl Nazgûl skoiz!

    Mirdautas vras!

(Fire and Ice, the Nazgûl fly

It is a good day to kill!)

  • beautiful

  • Tolkien was a frikkin' genius. Not only creating a language, but creating one that just sounds so good.

  • I don't know why every time I see someone compliment Tolkien, I feel strongly compelled to thank him/her personally. Almost as if the compliment was for me! But don't mind me, I'm just one of the most hardcore Tolkien-heads.

  • The music is good, but to make it out of a fictional language such as black speech?! Not only does it take talent to pull that off, but hard work! 500/5

  • Great, sounded like something from Lord of the Rings, in a good way. :D

  • this songo is beatiful...I've readen that the language used in this songo is the mordor language....summoning stil remain the best balck metal band for me!!!

  • Dammit this song is too good.

  • exelent video and song too

    You've done a good job!!
