  • Well, done Baal Teshuva THANK YOU!

  • Ignorance is bliss, and you seem extremely happy. Common sense will show that Yahushua is a phonetic translation of the Hebrew Ye-ho-shua. Of all things, my greatest difficulty is dealing with ignorant people. Maybe you could do some research of your own before dismissing intelligence. Go watch my video: Sacred name, and cease from foolishness.

  • oh and lastly im do believe Messiahs name is pronounced Yahusha. only twice out of 218 times in the tanakh is joshuas name spelled yod-hay-uou-shin-uou-ayin/ee-ah-oo-sh-oo-ah/Yahusha

216 times his name is spelled yoy-hay-uou-shin-ayin/ee-ah-oo-sh-ah/Yahusha

check out the besorah of Yahusha

from my research this is what i believe. i just wanna know my Lord better u know? Hes pretty awesome :)

  • @uplift101 You are correct about the 216 times, but you can't dismiss the 6 letter spelling either. Also his name is spelled 29 times YAD-SHIN-UAU-AYIN. Each time there is the 5 letter spelling there is a Qabuts (the three diagonal dots) under the shin which indicates the OO or U sound after the letter. Also the Joshua's dead sea scroll has the 6 letter spelling in it, as well as the 5 letter without the vowel points. It's not in it at all in the masoretic text.

  • also brother i agree. what is most important? are we loving the FATHER? doing His will? keeping His commandments? thats whats most important. as for the Fathers name.... well i wanna know and be as close the YHWH as possible and i do think on His name and feel its important. im not gonna say its a salvation issue. i do not believe if one pronounces it wrong the will loose salvation. but i do believe if one has salvation they will probably want to pronounce it right. lol i do believe its YAHUWAH

  • Joel's Divinely appointed name is: YAHEL, and it means, "YAH is EL".

Elijah's Divinely appointed name is ELIYYAH, and it means, "EL is YAH".

Obadiah's Divinely appointed name is: OBADYAH, and it means, "Servant of YAH".

Zephaniah'sDivinely appointed name is: TSEPHANYAHU, and it means, "YAH has Treasured".

Judah's Divinely appointed name is YAHUDAH, and it means, "YAH is praised". Joshua's Divinely appointed name is: YAHUSHUA, and it means, "YAH is Salvation

    yod-hay=YAH

    yod-hay-uou=YAHU

  • im reiterating what spiritflier07 said but yes they was no vowel points in hebrew, i believe they were first introduced by the masorites and it is my personal believe that they didnt want anyone to say the name of YHWH because according to talmud only the high priest can say it once a year or YHUSHA because he is hated by "the world".

the v sound is newer to the waw or uou

  • The original Hebrew had no vowels. The Masorites were Talmudic scholars that held the Talmudic law above Yah's laws. They hid His name as the Talmud says must be done.

As far as getting the "oo" sound in Yahushua there is much evidence that points to the "oo" sound because of the sound in the names of the Hebrews. Mattisyahu, There are more than 200 names that either begin or end with those letters that are contained in YHWH's name. They all say "oo". The people of Yah are Yahudim.

  • @Spiritflier07 There is a book at yahushua dot net that you might be interested in reading. It's called Publish the Name of Yahuwah and in there is a chapter that talks about the names of the Hebrews in the Scriptures & how they contained a contraction of the name of the Father. Yahu. Well so did the Son's Name. That is why Yahushua is used...among other evidence that MessengeroftheName points out in his other videos.
