Thom Hartmann said that radio waves did not exist 200 years ago to Christopher Hitchens. Unfortunately Christopher did not pick up on the fact that they did. We have the technology now that is picking up radio waves from space. Had we the technology 200 years ago it would have picked them up then.
This group wants to destroy the United States. There goal is to destroy the Federal Government and establish a world government in Jerusalem. They should be hung for treason.
i'm playing the thought that Jeff Sharlet might have been an agent of the devil having misinterpreted the values and purpose of The Family. If you have time read "Frat House for Jesus" by Peter J. Boyer of the New Yorker.
It am afraid Boyer is a little late scheduling his departure, the train long ago left the station on this one. The connection between a uniquely American conception of Christianity & its relationship to political power is a story that has been under investigation for 30 years. The exposure of the Family as an extremely dangerous cult is part of a larger story about the influence of totalitarianism on American society. I recommend you read; Holy Terror by Conway & Siegleman 1982
@georgealeria Doug Coe controls a cult of personality with corporate money disguised as a religion. He has adapted the methods of thought reform employed by Hiltler Mao & Stalin w/ an organizational cell structure to undermine Democracy in America. He has avoided exposure up to this point somehow but by using very sophisticated means + a violently debased conception of Jesus has succeeded in manipulating powerful but troubled men as proxy agents, to carry out a subversion of majority rule
Ok, so I know this is a serious clip but... LOL @ Thom's description of Sanford mistress; ''Little sweetie in Argentina''! He's such a nice guy, that is not how I would have described that.
According to Jeff's book, this is a fair assessment. They are not Christian in any traditional sense, they feel that Christianity got it wrong in ministering to the poor and disenfranchised and Jesus's real message was to those in Power (or read: those who have been given the power by God).
This may sound silly, although I assure you it's not, but I remember Howard Stern talking about The Family when Sam Brownback was trying to get him off the radio.
It's hard for me to believe that such a supposedly 'advanced' country such as the U.S. can have so many people in positions of power who are so naive, and thus dangerous. :(
I have no problem with religion in general, but it is terrifying how so many politicians use their beliefs
John Ralston Saul writes that the first three aims of the corporatist movement in Germany, Italy, and France during the 1920s, those that went on to become part of the fascist experience, were to shift power directly to economic and social interest groups, to push entrepreneurial initiative in areas normally reserved for public bodies and to obliterate the boundaries between public and private interest that is, challenge the idea of the public interest.
Bush was a good friend of Josef Ratzinger alias Benedict XVI who wears satanic symbols daily !
Bush said the Dalai Lama was the best person on earth... I heard the total opposite! He said so while CIA trained Tibetans agitators turned into protesters just to blame China. Tibet was a theocracy and the dalai Lama thought of himself has some God and, within his palace, behaved as a dark one.
The Family fits well with the New Age religions created for depicting faith as dangerous
The Modern Christian Church was created by Constantine in 313 AD when Rome killed true Christianity by usurping and co opting it's Mantle. The Church, and all of it's contradictory denominations, are the creation of men exercising political expediency, while accumulating wealth and political power. The Modern Church is the Anti Christ, their actions and ideology are the exact opposite of Christ. There are very few true Christians, as most people have been duped by 1700 years of false prophets.

Did you hear the interview with the guy who issued the Citizens United lawsuit? Thom interviewed him during CPAC this year.

The family is not really a christian movement. It is an arm of the R.C. Rosacrucian order. or the Rosey cross, R.C christian if you are so inclined.

Odd that they push evangelism in the rest of the world then eh?
They funded their Ugandan stooges into death penalty for homosexuality, 4 years for not reporting gay people, 7 years for even advocating gay rights.
life for touching a gay person. All done with evangelism, they even used American evangelists as their 'evidence'.
No birth control, inequality, odious loans, witch hunts of kids, creationism, all part of the same sick far right evangelist movement.
Catholics are nuts but not this evil.

The basis of religion are two things; superstition and fear. Religion was created by men, not God.

come on now we all know this is evil. Why are they so powerful that they can get away with it.
The Family are so dangerous. Get religion away, although they are not religious but bad people.
So right about Hitler, they let him get away for years. Brainwashing of course to mad people who are braindead.

There are secret societies out there who invoke the name of Christ for political reasons. Think of the Skull & Bones society.
JH335163 2 years ago 3
Yeah and my senator Kerry is part of it. I hate him.
captcrais101 2 years ago 2
Skull & bones are clearly satanic, they don't invoke the name of Christ at all.
The men of S&B separately will, in public, say they believe in God for obvious political reasons.
Jesus is not the Devil but a LOT of false-priests are puppets of Satan. Benedict XVI is an obvious case, an ex Nazi !
S&B display an owl they seem to worship in weird ceremonies that look like a black mass.
