The EA-6B Prowler is a US Navy carrier based aircraft, probably based on either the John Stennis or Nimitz. It usually supports strike missions of USAF Falcons or USN Super Hornets with Electronic Warfare SEAD missions. It goes a long way to neutralizing those nasty Russian SA-9 and SA-10 SAMs. Its tough for planes to carry a lot of AGM-88 HARMs and yet have an adequate strike load. BTW, I'm ex-SG (did my time) and now an American.
