Once aquaculturists learn to successfully complete the life cycle of the bluefin in captivity(which is being attempted in many countries, with some success), they can establish their own captive brood stock and leave the wild stocks alone. While I agree that they are likely harvesting too many at this time, the research is valid and indeed necessary. Greenpeace isn't solution oriented, just sensation oriented. Fundamentalism is weakness of the mind, no matter how you slice it.

@ihaterobbie123 im sorry but your wrong they use fish aggregation devices (FADs) which lure small fish in. They are made from logs and floating things like that. The small fish feed from the algae and other stuff then they attract bigger fish like tuna. The boats then come back with massive nets and catch the whole school of blue fin tuna in one go its incredibly unsustainable cus it catches shark turtles and any other fish attracted to the FAD, and as blue fin tuna is endangered its just stupid
