I have an 03 800 with beaver tail still on, I ride off trail all the time 3ft pow no problem but if your riding out in 5 plus then youll have problem with getting stuck
Right now i can get a complete kit inculeding snow flap and grab bar ect for $110 a intercooler upgrade are you kidding me you dont need a bigger one my buddy has the race virsion of mine the out the beaveer tail and there is no differnce outher than no beaver tail so dude bull shit the fans not the players lol :P
One last thing, the only delete kits still for sale (That I could find) require you to have a 04+ grab bar and snow flap. The kit only includes some rivets and the tunnel extension.
And YES if your not riding in mint conditions they WILL overheat without upgrading to a bigger cooler, I've seen ones from the ZX being used. If you plan on upgrading your cooler then go ahead, it's just a looks thing
@DirtAndSnowChris what are you talking about? Clearly you know nouthing about sled's or maby just this one inparticular. It will sink in anything but hard pack and i like riding powder and jumping so the bever tail has to go.
@Deathtoll008 Umm, I have the same sled. they work fine in deep snow, I ride a lot of powder and I don't feel any difference between mine and my friends 05. And you won't have any problems with jumping :P
