I think it's bullcrap.

The screaming is, for me, an instrument of dramatizing something.

If you scream all the time, it just sounds "Blallalabahablablabablaba" at some point, also, anyone can do that.

Fuck, even i can do that and i can't even say my name without changing the altitude.

@CaptainKacknup Ha. Almost anyone can scream, yes, but can you scream PROPERLY? Yeah, if you tried to scream a song you would end up losing your voice for weeks, and couldn't sing anymore. It's actually work to scream. Have a nice day now :)

Lacey is an amazing singer. For the longest time, she screamed properly but had a slight screw up while she was screaming. she corrected it in her second album. many dont know this, but during the tour after the first album, Flyleaf had to stop production and touring for about 2 weeks because Lacey messed up her vocal chords. Still an amazing singer, and she has corrected her previous mistakes and now screams flawlessly. You can notice the difference in screams in albums if you listen closely.

haha, this is crazy. i'd have to say my fav scream she does is in I'm Sorry; "I'M DONE HEALING! I'M DONE HEALING!". i love her scream because it's not raw anger, or adrenaline, it's pure passion. you can just hear she really means what she's saying when she screams. it's hard to explain if u don't hear it, but she's trying to tell you something, and she's like "I WANT YOU TO UNDERSTAND THISSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!" lol. and yea, i'm also a big screamo (all screaming) fan ;)

I sing like 95% and scream 5% in my music (i guess kinda like flyleaf..... but I'm a guy lol). I'm really glad I can do it right but unless you really know your doing it right its not worth the risk. you wanna here a female singer that can scream really good. look up the agonist... not my style AT ALL ... but she's really good
