It's not an STI, it's a wrx with a swapped out STI steering wheel. It has wrx door trim, drivers seat, long ass shifter for the 5 speed, and no fender flares on the rear.  Nice WRX though.

With stock internals I would wring an easy 6,600 out of the little 2.0 on a routine basis. I lost third gear shifting at 7,100, but that was due to the weak-ass factory 5spd that came out in the 2002-2004 WRX. Don't be afraid to break stuff if you're going to "race".

Sorry to say, but thats not weight reduction. All he did was remove rear seat and the front passenger seat. Basically he remover a total of probably 45 lbs of foam. Not to burst your bubble or anything, it only takes the removal of 8 bolts to take out the front and rear passenger seats.
