Listening to this song in the car this morning for the millionth time, I was randomly inspired to make something like this. I'm not surprised to see that someone else has beaten me to it, so I guess now I'm challened to do better! :)

Very good overall. One pet peeve of mine is when aspect ratios are messed up. All of the RotK scenes you used (most of the video) are stretched out horizontally. But the FotR scenes (4:19 to 4:44) are correct.

@klopek007 i never stretched any scenes. i might have cropped them to get a closer perspective. but i never stretched. i ripped all 3 movies and didn't fullscreen it. thats why as you can see.. the fan made video wasn't fullscreen.

@BabyM0nkie0 Oh, I wasn't saying that you stretched it yourself. But clearly the proportions are too wide in the RotK scenes, and correct in the FotR scenes.

@Picard578 Return of the King is the only movie I have that is the extended. But I don't think it was part of the extended scenes, I believe it was in the original theatrical version.

@auto4union exactly!! If the folks at Sony or whoever published the movie were wise, they'd paid the Zeppelins for the use of their music. This song is one of the best-fitting for Tolkien's themes, especially it contains a lot of references to the LOTR itself (eg. "Ringwraiths ride in black" or "The Dark Lord comes in force tonight and time will tell us all"). But hey, extreme capitalists are not much wiser than extreme communists, both group dont think:)

I am amazed that no one until now realized that Led Zeppelin's Battle of Evermore is a tribute to Frodo's quest to return the ring to the fire of Mordor. Peter Jackson's Oscar winning footage is a perfect match for this Led Zep classic.
