Oh my God! What have we done?
When I first surfed at Jeffreys Bay (back in the day) there was nothing there. Just a few hippies, surfers and hippie surfers. We camped up in the sand dunes. Yes pristine it was. We surfed for fun and camaraderie. There were no wetsuits, (geesh) leashes and most of all no international pro circuit. Now look at it! What a circus! Same story for Biarritz . . . now Surf City Europe!
