@milesneedham thats a bad question to ask, they obviously don't mind and if anything if they did JPJ would still do it since they never called him to play.
I enjoyed the way John Paul Jones played, but i think vocals were REALLY needed. And, if compared to what Robert Plant and Jimmy Page did to the old Led Zeppelin songs, JPJ lost by far. I'm not saying i don't like JPJ, but looks like he just tried to replay the songs, while the other two reinvented it.
He is a great man in person, as my friend, and as a musician. Still, to this day, he competes on par and better than most modern and classic versatile musicians.
