Hi, i got a mapex 12inch chris adler snare. ive tried a few snare heads and they sound horrible. A drum shop near me told me to use Aquarian High Frequency for my snare. I just want to know your thoughts on that as ive just wasted my money on 2 snare heads and dont know anyone that has used aquarian heads, cheers
@1mogez Hey, tbh it depends on the drum, some heads work well for a drum others don't. I had the same problem with my snare, I have found that the aquarian high frequency works well. but i have found that the remo controlled sound works well with any drum i have tried it with
hey Paul! been a while since i talked to ya. this vid is helpful, but i just wonder one thing... i have a tama imperialstar kit in midnight blue finish, it looks alot like this kit. i also have two bass drums. you have the same hihat stand as me too, and im having issues with placing the hihat stand. i see the legs of yours are all folded in, but that makes it wobbly right? have you clamped your hihat stand to a cymbal stand or something? please answer, it will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
for the starter cymbal sorta range i would say they are the best, I love the ride and the extra hats on my kit which are zxt! Im not a big fan of the crash but i can't afford anything to replace it atm
ok cuz i really want a rock ride to pull my set together cuz i just spent like 300 dollars getting new crashes cuz my old ones were terrible now i wanna get a new ride cuz mines a beginner ride
Great Video, fantastic drum kit and i like the idea of the car polish i will have to try it. Keep the videos coming hope your tour goes well and one day you may be at glastonbury i always go so will look out for you.
Dude, you need to get a presonus firestudio ,..then you use your pc for recording the audio, then you can mix the drums after you play the song. seperate tracks !~ FX ~! its really awesome.
Thank you, check the video out il upload in a few days, i have just finished editing it now and its looking and sounding quite good! My friend who died really liked the track, so im sure he would have loved it!

@paulcgd
What does it actually means? Do you set up the drumset before a concert or do you install microphones etc?
FSfreek 2 years ago
I set up and manage everything to do with drum set before concert or rehearsal
we use internal mic's and triggers which i have to sort out!

There are better rides but nothing anywhere near as good as a zxt rock ride for the money!!!
