  • banadiri can be anything from (italian, arab, portugese, bantu, chinese, korean, red indian, plus somali), it is actually a mix of anything from everywhere.

if she wanna be famous she has to sing in proper somali tho . with banadiri u aint gonna get fame in somalia let alone internationally , look at knaan he sings proper somali that have deep meaning . benadiris sing surfacelly and randomly .

and to be honest with u , most somalis dont even understand that accent .

  • her accent is typical banadiri one,so who eva said she's half Ethiopian need to do a research,

  • She is 1/2 italian,1/2 somali,& she grew up in somalia.

  • Saba Anglana + K'naan = excellent

  • @gelyaco Saba is excellent and true : her songs are new and stolen music like kna id : Gash Tilahin Gessesse, Mahmmoud ahmed... and all great ethiopian singers music are the base of knna's songs.. He is good but not authentic!!

  • Magnifica ! delicatezza con ritmi della tradizione africana e suoni percussivi contemporanei; questa musica e la sua voce ti da i brividi...

  • no her mother was born and raised in ethopia but has somali blood and her father is from turin italy

  • Actually her mother is Somali. Her grandparents were exiled Somalis who escaped to Ethiopia.

  • @davischic23 Not at all ! All clothes and traditional costumes are typically from the northern part of ETHIOPIA-..Otherwise, in her interwires she wouldn't telle her mother is Ethiopian..So , her father is Italian and her mother is Ehiopian -they married in Somalina and Saba is born is Somalia: even her name is a typical name of the northen ethiopian people!

  • @asterchereka just coz her mother used to live in Ethiopia doesn't make her (mother) Ethiopian

  • @maxmuud08 Maybe you need to go back and read carefully what I wrote. He r mother did not JUST LIVED THERE: SHE IS ETHIOPIAN. THA 'S ALL. However, never mind if ther mother is ethiopian or somalian: it is not my opinion or yr opinion: just listen to what she said in an interviwe. Otherwise ..there is no explanaton on why she needed to go back to thiopia and see placesa ad way of live : it was just simple to go back in Somalia: she speaks , even her name is typycally nrothern ethiopia:

  • @asterchereka lol she never said her motha is Ethiopian where did you hear that from?? her mother was the daughter of an exile somali living in ethiopia

  • @maxmuud08 Sure she said: it is an interview.. She is sitting in black sofa...where a krar (ethiopian music instrumet) a Begen (an etiopian hasrp) were put as a show..She was explaing about her mother origin:in fact she was axplaning why se went to Ethiopia:to discover her origin....SHe indeed was bor in Somalian & at 5 she moved to Italy. So..there was no need t sing a sng in amharic, and base her videoc lip (see her intervie inItalian) In any case never mind what I say: shes born in Africa-

  • @asterchereka She is Somali(born in Somalia) and this video she is singing Somali language specialy banadiri accent which is spoken in Mogadisho. People of Banadir is divesrse Somalis(majority),Arabs, Pakistanis, Italian(left during the civil war), Oromo, Amharic and Adari muslims who run away from Ethiopia during the reign of haile Selasie. Italians left for ever the remaining, few left and rest Joined Alshabaab(Islamists of mixture Somalis and non somalis).

Brava Saba!!
