@LisaFreemontStreet Aww, I thought so. My hair just don't want to grow.... but thanks for the info on that book, I will get it if I ever get my hair to be long enough.
Hi! There is another 1940's hairstyling book at Bramcost called "Creative Hair Styling: 1940s Swirls, Curls & Water Waving" that looks pretty good...much better than the first book you rated. It has something like 12 basic pin curl settings and looks absolutely fantastic...did you get that one, too??
Lovely! I have VERY long VERY thick hair (down to my tailbone fun Victorian hair heh), but I'm cutting it to about my underbust line- the longest I can go for '40s and the shortest I can go for Victorian, so it works ahaha! Great review, as always! Thanks again!
I have the "How to create 1940's hairstyles" and I was always worried that I just wasn't understanding how to do the hairstyles, but since you said that it wasnt very helpful, it made me feel LOADS better!
Also...do you have a picture on how to get your hair cut with the specific layers that you mentioned in on of your previous videos?
Well, you totally talked me into buying the last book =) Do you think it will work for waistlong fine straight hair? Or is BSL the longest you can go with the hairstyles in this book? Thank you, you are so awesome!
I love the idea of the long hair book. I am working at growing my hair out again. I cut it about a month or two ago and I have regetted it. The cut wasn't quite what I wanted, and I don't want to cut it again because I don't want to lose anymore length. Look forward to more tutorials.
WHOO HOO i have the Creative Hairshaping and Hairstyling You Can Do -- Cutting, Rolling, Curling and Waving Instructions for 1940s Hairstyles (because of you and i'm thinking about getting Lauren's book too!) and i love it! Bramcost is such a great company. SERIOUSLY IF ANYBODY BUYS STUFF FROM THEM, YOU WON'T REGRET IT THEY ARE SUCH NICE PEOPLE!! Thanks for this video, wonderful as always!
yay for long hair!!!!! I have waist length and its hard to find vintage styles that fit....i mostly just pin curl and brush out with a flower for night s out...so thanks ...and show us some when your hair does grow longer! :)
Wah, great! The worst problem I have with victory rolls is that my hair is too long... But those looks were gorgeous! I will get it ASAP. Thank you so much for the advice! :D
Hello! Little questions. In the last book, what leght of hair is required to do the style. What is considered "long" ?
Sojichan 4 months ago
@Sojichan See my video called The Middy Haircut. I discuss that cut there.
LisaFreemontStreet 4 months ago
@LisaFreemontStreet Ok, so by long, it actually mean mean Middy-long?
Sojichan 4 months ago
@Sojichan OH! No, that model's hair is actuallly much longer. To the shoulder blades at least. But it's cut into layers.
