I am a hardcore fan of both gaga and joanna, so I saw this and was like HOLY CRAP. You're both cute, and the combination was cool, but I wanted to critique a little. Guy: you have a really good voice, but you're trying a little hard in it and you can overpower her. Less harsh and more melodic. Girl: You also have a nice voice, but you kind of mess it up by sounding raspy or edgyish, you should try to have a more rounded mouth when you sing, it'll add more depth. also, it's bold like a horse. :D

If I had to choose between a Gaga and a Newsom concert, I would have a hard time deciding. Gaga is fun, catchy, and always an interesting spectacle, and might pull out an unexpected piano performance. However, Newsom has such beautiful music and such touching lyrics. Perhaps this is something like what a double-billing of both of them would sound like.

@sweetnessofbeing not so much, she coppied so many influences, and she is not as creative. Lady Gaga writes all of her songs, and they are simply incomparable because they sound nothing alike. Lady gaga has a soulful voice and a supremely clever standpoint on writing songs. She may be focused on sex, but it doesn't mean that that should attract from her genius anymore than an actor makes a mistake, yet you still love their performance in a movie. Also Newsom has limited vocal control.
