So i didnt have a PS3 when LittleBigPlanet came out, but im liking the look of it. Do I need to play the first one or will i get away and save money just getting LittleBigPlanet2?

Of course you can get the sequel without getting LBP1. however, you wont have the costumes and other goodies from the original. When you play through the game, you may notice that other players are using objects youll never be able to get.

Everything you have, got, made.. gets carried over to the sequel. So it wouldnt be a bad idea to start playing the 1st one.

Also, dont feel that you have to play through all of the first game before playing LBP2, because everytime you go on LBP2 - if youve played LBP1 lately, itll ask you if you want to carry over your latest changes. So dont feel pinned down :)

the levels that blew me away? galaxy defence, the lost, trail blast, penguin terf war,the upcoming wolfienstein 3d, and all the story levels.

this game is perfect in every way except for the slight camera delay issue and the laggy online with other players but im sure they'll patch that soon
