Yeah. The guy had a mustache, and it was the pinky fingers that were broken. Also, they just cut his throat in the book. I guess this was more practical.
The novel was awesome and the movie is a great adaptation. Wonderful cast. I saw the movie the day after it opened in theaters and I enjoyed every bit of it. I will definitely buy it whe released.
I agree. She could have put a little more effort in to her character. Yes Jackie Earle Haley was amazing. I almost thought it was David Hayter lol.
The first Silk Spectre played her part perfectly though it didn't really look like her comic book character, which I liked. Jeffrey Dean Morgan played his part well too as the comedian. Idk why people didn't like it. They probably didn't read it and I thought the ending was fine. No squid but it still fit perfectly.
thats a pretty good "maskless" rorshach look. the scene where they cut the guys arms off is some what bloody, but am i alone in the fact that i didn't find it TOO bad?
That scene to me was prolly the most gruesome part other than when Nite Owl broke that guy's elbow through... thats the first time I acctually ever saw that XD
yeah, that was pretty brutal, i wasn't really expecting that, though it wasn't absolutely unbearable. plus, when i saw the movie last sunday, i basically knew some of what to expect having read the comic book and seeing this scene. I think they did a pretty good job with the movie; not quite as good as the book, but for the complex story they had to work with, i think they did pretty damn good.
I acctually liked the movie more than the comic becuz I didnt really like the giant squid part... it was a bit... unnessesary for Ozzy... he could have just done that Dr. Manhatten trick like in the movie... thats accually why I liked it... also I throughly enjoyed the opening credit... that wass a treat! And the Black Frieghter couldnt fit in the movie anyway so im glad they didnt put it up but also glad they put cameos of Bernie and Bernie XD

They killed him because the riot wasn't going to last forever so they had to hurry.

They messed up a few lines but only for the same reason we redo lines in anime: to make the lips move with the words... obvious enough lol =P
