  • wow! I had no idea this stuff existed on utube. Guess I must be old fashioned. This was truly a delight to watch and brings many tears to my eyes. I'm Walt's litlle sister, Tobi.

  • I only saw walt and Hank a few times as I had just come to Fred Wrens schools in STL as they were leaving back in the ealry 70.s.

I had come to WREN as a brown belt from a Korean school. I also loved to watch bone do Gae Beck kata. Mike Chiaurro

  • i can remember my dad scott tellin me stories about walt bone.

  • I was at the school on 62nd ave!

Remember the going away party for Richard Jinkins, up on the Withlacoochee River?

Remember tearing down the house down by the hospital down town?

  • I remember reading about Walt Bone in Black Mag and Karate Illistrated years ago and he is still great.

  • CORREECTION.... LATE 70s, until Walt died in 82

  • Me too, at Florida Karate Academy, Meadowlawn on 62nd Ave. Then moved to Largo on Missouri ave. Anyone from those days, or members of "Bones Wrecking Crew" from late 80s drop me a line! I joined with Art Johannson

  • Thanks so much! Walt Bone was my Sensei back in the late 70s. It was good to see him again! Wish I knew where Hank Farrah and Don Steriano go to. Bone and about 5 or 6 others also performed the SWAT bit at a few other tourneys. It's even better with more.

  • Wow! I was in Bones Wrecking Crew as well, I remember Don Steriano too and ...was it Chucky? or Checky? I remember when Walt died in the plane crash from Columbia... Maybe we studied together, Florida Karate Academy, on 62nd Ave in Meadowlawn, then moved to Largo on Missouri. I remember they practiced and practiced and practiced this Kata for months

  • I was just at the Largo school. Went to all the tourneys, etc. I always regret that I dropped out after the Largo school closed. Just couldn't get down to Seminole on a regular basis. Now in my 50s and taking up TKD again - these old bones are having a hard time getting back in shape, but I still Love it! I remember being in a class with Jim & Stephanie Sullivan and the Bledsoe brothers among others.

  • Hank Farrah just retired from the Police Department in Minnesota. Don runs a church in the Brandenton area.

  • @trueronin

If you could please contact me I am trying to get in touch with Hank Farrah. I have no idea how this youtube stuff works, but I hope you get the message. Thanks in advance.
