I read somewhere that they found a lifeboat on the island, but I don´t know the rest of the story ... does anyone?

Also there was a reporting of a second island nearby, Named Thompson Island.

No trace of this island now remains

This island is very far, very little, very cold....to live in there... Well, maybe if I took some girls. Would be less cold. :D Neither the British liked to own this island.

Now I fully understand why it is so hard to make a landing on Bouvet island!
